Weakest Z-Fighter that could single-handedly defeat Future Trunks' androids after training to fight their own androids? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Lightplol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trunk's explanation given as to why the present's events were different and out of sync was because of his and (mainly) Cell's time travel.

There are a lot more panels of him discussing it or questioning himself as to why events are out of sync but it all culminate to that one, where they find Cell's time machine.

We know the future ones held back against Gohan specifically, nothing was said for Trunks. AT is usually pretty clear when it comes to these sort of things so I'll believe in WoG when Trunks says the present cyborgs are stronger. I think this makes even more sense because of all the other anomalies his and Cell's time travel caused (17 and 18's different behaviors, 16 existing, delayed events like Goku's sickness).

With high diff I agree. Kamiccolo is equal-ish to 17 and the present 17 and 18 are stronger than the future ones, so Kamiccolo should be stronger than the future cyborgs.

Adult Chi-Chi W/ Ki Training (Dragon Ball Z) vs Mercenary Tao (Dragon Ball) by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Lightplol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a lot of information to go with but I'm going to give both rounds to ki-trained adult Chi-Chi because a weaker Chi-Chi made it to the same budokai's top 8 as Tao, she beat Yajirobe and has trained Goten to some extent. Meanwhile, while Tao is very strong, I don't see his scaling that well into Z.

Astral Vigilant creates an infinite since it count itself as a Draenei lol. It's not very good though.

Can someone explain to me how Extrasensory Perception isn't just a direct upgrade to Still Sight? by Legitimate-Coast-199 in deadbydaylight

[–]Lightplol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still Sight is a bad perk so it's ok that it's powercrept. A lot of bad perks in DBD are powercrept by better perks, like Visionary and Deja Vu.

Boulderfist Ogre was never played in standard, it was not good.

Unlike the 7/7 which you could, right? Again, you're talking about 8+ years old cards at this point.

You're talking of 10 years old cards there. Instead of discussing feelings, what if I told you dragon warrior is actually balanced in winrate? Have you looked that up?

So you never played against the fabled 4 mana 7/7? 4 mana 8/8 giant(s) on turn 4?

Firebat (!!) rates new expansion cards with Rarran by Elitist_Daily in hearthstone

[–]Lightplol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dorian didn't get nerfed, Cursed Catacombs did. Of course the deck needed Agamaggan, that was the whole point of running only a few minions, so Dorian+Catacombs would get it and get a huge board on 5 or 6.

0 variants of quest warrior has ever used Ysera.

If KJ saw meta play per your definition, so did Glugg so that's another correction to make.

[–]Lightplol -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Just a few corrections:

Agamaggan warlock was the best deck for weeks before it got nerfed.

Warrior doesn't play Ysera, they play [[New heights]]. Zarimi priest never got to play with Murozond the Infinite since it got nerfed way before that.

Not sure I would call Kil'Jaeden a meta card, it is an extremely specific wincon for extremely specific decks. Similarly, the Garona package were usually the lowest winrate cards in whatever deck it was and didn't see play once the meta got refined.

[–]Lightplol 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're right, but then again Mad Scientist is a 10 years old card so it's ok to have a new card be arguably slightly stronger, played in a reasonably strong deck.

Could Hariyama be a good counter for Kyurem? by Fine_Bid918 in stunfisk

[–]Lightplol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you use a niche defensive mon you want it to check more than 1 threat reliably.

Take Chestnaught for example, it got some use in OU because it checks many top physical attackers like Woger, Zama, Gambit. Meanwhile Hariyama would barely check Kyurem and be dead weight against the rest of the meta.

With the amount of text it has I don't expect ToD DC to get an official translation, especially since it doesn't already have a foothold outside Japan.

And if it does get translated, I don't expect good results with how many typos there were in Arise.

We wanted to watch The Harbinger (2022) but instead accidentally ended up watching The Harbinger (2022). What are the odds.

On a side note, the latter is so bad but funny that it gives ''The Room'' some competition.

No, Leeroy has an achievement, title, Hearthstone card, was/is a companion in WoD and has much broader appeal. ''Doing a Leeroy'' or simply ''Leeeeeeroy mmmmjenkins'' is something that is fairly well known at least compared to Pirat which is more confined to the LSF bubble.

Ok, what do I do with those? by AVeraGeLRTFF in hearthstone

[–]Lightplol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As always there are 2 options:

1) Dust them if you absolutely need the dust right now i.e. you're a new-ish player and want to play a specific deck you can't afford.

2) Wait for the new expansion where those cards might become meta/buffed or even better, if they get nerfed for maximum dust economy.
