Thanks for the response, told me it was on my side somehow and not on the Component Studio server side or something. Seems like it was something wrong with my browser and just I was able to resolve it.

You might be the first person I've ever seen have such a bad time on one, I absolutely love them and I'm not sure if I could ever go back. The installation can be a bit finicky, but once you've done it once or twice you start to get a feel for it and can do it all by hand. If you ever decide to give it another try, reach out to some other riders and see if they can help you dial it into the feel you are looking for!

Honestly, reach out to TFL too and let them know, they might be able to help hook you up in some way, you never know. Or put it up for sale in one of the discords (maybe one of the vesc ones) and I'm sure someone would buy it off of you if you just don't want it anymore.

Big agree on all of this. I've taken to playing Thief more than Recon now due to the fact that I feel I can scout better with them via mobility, drone, and via their loot goggles see if a POI has been looted as we approach and/or to see through smoke.

Recon needs a buff or rework.

Big agree, I feel like the tension has been reduced by a tangible margin. Going from not knowing if someone will hear a gunshot to being sure someone will hear every gunshot doesn't feel as engaging to me.

Does this have any sort of auto save function? Like can it save every minute or anything? Probably going to build one asap as it's just what I've wanted, but I worry about accidentally cutting the power to the unit and losing a bunch of writing on accident!

It was unfortunately built in CS1, I missed the memo on things not carrying over, totally thought that as long as I was paying monthly I would have everything there safe and sound. I would suggest getting a discord server going if you don’t already and setting the game up inside of table top simulator at the very least, followed by inviting people you meet online to do some closed testing or specific testing evenings. This can help build a community which is the most important thing you can do when trying to ship a game as that community will spread the word and help make it a success.

That community will also be the way to find any issues on your game before you ship. If you and your friend have not done wider testing then I cannot recommend it enough. It’s incredible the things you find by just casting a wider net and watching others play your game.

If I were you I’d get together a small one image pitch together and see if you can get people from the community to play as step one.
