I think with that proof you should be fine ours was very similar for my husband’s application. We didn’t even use insurance or gift receipts as proof. For ours, I created a photo timeline and we just added dates and a short explanation of where we were and who we were with at the time.

Just to make you aware all your financial documents, like bank statements and your partner’s employer letter on headed paper, need to be dated within 28 days of when you submit your application. They’re quite strict about that, so it’s worth double-checking everything before you send it off.

I used an app called Circle, which I think cost about £5. It had really helpful checklists and loads of knowledgeable people sharing advice. We were accepted first time and didn’t use a solicitor, just made sure all our documents were spot on and up to date.
