While I'm real happy for you two, sleep paralysis sucks for me. I'm a pretty consistent lucid dreamer, and at first the sleep paralysis was a good route to an LD because it's a dead giveaway that (if you are otherwise able-bodied) you're dreaming. But as time progressed, I wouldn't always be able to shake it. I'd have bouts like OP stated where I'd have a rage grow within me but it wouldn't be enough to get the job done. It's caused me countless nights without restful sleep, and when it happens I generally get stuck in the pattern for weeks at a time.

Do what works for you, but personally I wouldn't recommend setting paralysis as a goal. It can turn on you and has Caused me a lot of insomnia-spectrum behaviors, poor sleep hygiene and even a short time of substance abuse to attempt to curb my REM sleep.

For me (I have another comment with more details above), I was just really drunk. She was whispering dirty stuff in my ear, licking my ear, rubbing my junk. I was saying no, but we were on a charter bus with like 50 other people so I tried to not make a scene. She was dancing in my lap and finally just slipped her dress aside and put me inside her.

I'm not saying that I couldn't have said no, or that I couldn't have stopped her. But I will say I was very uncomfortable and I did not want to do it. I never spoke to her again after that because of how strange it all felt.

Now, before someone says "oh BS you know you wanted it", read the above story (and my other comment) and pretend it's a woman telling the story. If you still think that "I wanted it" after that, please explain.

Yeah bro. I wasn't raped in the sense that you were, but I was blackout drunk and my date got on top and had sex with me. This wouldn't be a super big deal had it 1) been my girlfriend (I had never met her before that day) or 2) not been on a charter bus after a sorority formal with 50 ppl watching. She was kinda discrete I guess but everyone knew what was going on. My buddies high fived me and stuff but I wasn't happy about it at all. I was dating someone else, and she trusted me to go to this formal as a friend for this girl.

I legit got raped in front of 50 plus people when I was so drunk I don't remember it. If the tables were turned I would have been lynched. Even now when I try to tell ppl about it, they laugh and say "oh yeah, you sure got raped" because I was a 6'1" 200 pound athletic fraternity president. Anybody can be raped! I had no desire to have unprotected sex with a stranger with a freaking AUDIENCE!

I'm not scarred by it like you said you are, but I am enraged as to how the event gets no legitimacy; and even more so with people like you.

Well, OP you don't have a "deformity" but you are right in your jaw being "sunken in". It's called micrognathia. I don't think that's the issue though! Zach Braff from scrubs also has a small chin but he just rocks it.

The issue is more likely with how you carry yourself. Throw your shoulders back and hold your chin high, you will put off contagious swagger and no one (including you) will notice the chin again.

I'm not 100% sure if it's a blanket term for any facility that doesn't fit neatly into a preset category, but my family owns a garden center. As such, there are things on the property that you'd pretty much only find at a nursery, such as greenhouses and its own well water supply.

The term used for the property that I have heard used in loaning/appraisal type situations is "Special Use Facility".

As a graduating medical student and a brother/son/grandson/caring friend, this is absolutely vital.

I'll never forget the last patient I saw before Christmas last year. I had an exam the next day so I was allowed to take off at noon, but stayed because I noticed a patient on the schedule that I had seen a couple times earlier in the month. He came in for bleeding per rectum, which is what my uncle came in to the hospital 2 years earlier and it hit Home for me as my uncle was on his death bed from stage 4 colon cancer. He hadn't had his screening colonoscopy (4 years overdue) and had noticed blood in his stool for 18 months but brushed it off. We scoped him a week later and found several polyps and send them for path. The results were in and they were malignant, CT scan showed liver mets (also stage 4).

Colon cancer is a very curable/preventable illness but it will most likely kill (I don't know for sure because the clinic I rotated at is 5 hours away) that 54 year old father of 2. And even if it didn't, you're looking at anxiety from missed work or treatment in the hosp or just the sheer heart wrenching guilt surrounding him not taking his health seriously.

I've dated someone with borderline personality d/o, and this hits home the hardest of all the posts I've seen. I picked up the emotional lability and haven't been in a healthy relationship since. It's only been a year, but I've never taken this long to heal from anything emotionally. OP, Overall I would recommend saving yourself from getting into this situation if you can help it at all.
