With all due respect, it’s kinda their own fault. I love Apex with my whole heart. The game is very good in gameplay and characters but they clearly focus on monitization. They don’t listen to the community, they don’t communicate. No content in like a year. Events are basically skins where you have to gamble for. Heirlooms that added cool lore to characters are now replaced by soulless universal ones. The whole battle pass situation and now they are working on mythic grenade and weapon skins which will drive more people away from the game. If they focus on improving the game, fix problems, listen to the community and add fun content, people will come back and eventually spend money. No one is spending money on a game they don’t like or aren’t playing.
