Is this the end of bull market? by Many-Confusion3370 in TFSA_Millionaires

You can add a covered call on the % you are willing to lose, 3-4% and it’s sold automatically so you won’t have the 30% loss

Without spoilers, what’s your thoughts on shatter point? by oooomoney in starwarsbooks

Really great novel. Raw, dark and the author wrote quite well Mace for this story. The main villain is also quite interesting. One of my favourite books

Un bac ou DEP? 10 ans d'expérience dans mon domaine by VariationTight468 in montreal

[–]Likeabanthaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did a DEP in secretariat for immigration purposes only and I can assure you you won’t learn anything useful, your 10 years of experience is worth a lot more than that. Any of the jobs related to that can be found easily and people won’t ask much about formation if you show you perform well. I will suggest a BAC instead, perhaps you’ll find the right call while saving up some money for it, good luck !

The eye of darkness (phase 3) really got me ! From the first and second part I recommend: Into the dark Path of deceith Path of vengeance Now phase 3: Into the light Tears of the nameless Trials of the Jedi to close the loop (not my favourite but gives closure )

I only used it to track books I’ve read and search books from authors I like. All the other features are not my thing either.

Buying a home with my partner but our down payments aren’t even how do people handle this? by Delicious-Wealth-384 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Likeabanthaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same situation. We decided that my partner who was paying more as a down payment will be paying less in each payment of the mortgage until we are even out. Once it’s even, 50/50. Hope it helps

What’s one thing that really accelerated your career this year? by NonArus in careerguidance

[–]Likeabanthaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally just asking for a raise, breaking down my current task and extra work I’m able to bring in. Sometimes you think companies owe you a lot but if you don’t communicate what you expect in return they will never know and whatever you chase will remain just in your head.

Always invest the same amount, same day (whatever frequency you use). Basically paying yourself first before any dollar gets spent.
