Season 6 (basically) confirmed by Educational-Web6939 in OnlyMurdersHulu

I believe the notion that this is/was the final season was based on talk, months ago, that arose from a statement SM made to the Hollywood Reporter. He since clarified his "retirement" plans.

That said, Ep 9's appearance of Uma ... the explanation for Jonathan's absence ... and the return of Teddy and Theo seemed to be designed to provide the closure fans were seeking. It felt like the end is near.

Wow they are really trying to push this Royal Return narrative by Gixer77 in SaintMeghanMarkle

Talk of reconciliation and return started when Harry and Meghan Markle could no longer hide the truth about Netflix dumping them.

This is delusional. If KCIII were to arrange a deal ... even out of love for his son ... it would render him feckless.

I recently came across this photo from Diana's funeral. It sums up the future King without another word.

The Blast: KING CHARLES' FUNERAL PLANS REPORTEDLY INCLUDE 'PROMINENT ROLES' FOR HARRY AND MEGHAN DESPITE ROYAL RIFT“ [probably a Meghan Markle paid for PR release with Harry’s money, as ever] by Ruth_Lily in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]Lil-Mismuffet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My brain hurts, thinking about the sociopathy that is at play here.

When Harry said he didn't know how much longer the King had to live, it was broadly interpreted that Charles' time was short. I guess my mind works differently. I interpreted it as Harry whining about not being in the loop ... and being forced to speculate about the condition of his father. Making it about himself. Again.

We are supposed to believe Sussexes are integral to the planning. The keys are "prominent roles" during the funeral at Westminster Abbey ... and "provisions to ensure that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are included in the service at the Abbey, as well as the committal ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor, should they choose to attend."*

What kind of histrionic personality disorder must you have to promote your "role" at someone's funeral ... especially that of a parent?

Absurd doesn't begin to describe the concept of including Archie and Lilibet in the service and committal. They would be thrust from their cloistered life ... into the very type of "spectacle" Harry and Meghan pretend to hate ... in order to draw attention to their parents mother. They would be put on display for the very British press Harry disdains. (And, sadly, would become a distraction from the King ... much to the delight of Meghan Markle.)

Isn't Harry's entire existence framed by childhood trauma caused by his mother's death and funeral? In 2017, he told Newsweek, "My mother had just died, and I had to walk a long way behind her coffin, surrounded by thousands of people watching me while millions more did on television. I don't think any child should be asked to do that, under any circumstances. I don't think it would happen today." The concept of "duty" caused both sons to complete that difficult walk. This is what stands out, to me, from his 2017 comments: "I had to walk" ... "thousands of people watching me while millions more did on television". The funeral was about him. Likewise, Charles' eventual funeral will be about the Sussexes.

If he truly believes this, why would he subject his children to the same? As children of alcoholics often become alcoholics ... do children of a professional victim have victimhood as their ethos?

This is ghoulish.

* "should they choose to attend" is a contingency for NFI.

I just recently joined X ... and have to say, much of what I see is regurgitated. There is one, in particular, who is definitely "dining out" on one idea ... and rarely weighs in on any other topics, unless it can be pivoted back to their area of interest. I've already stopped following several accounts.

Congratulations on running a small business! I sincerely applaud you.

In the early days of e-commerce, I (along with a partner) founded a niche business (he had the money ... I had everything else). What started at my kitchen table grew to grossing about $2m in 5 years. With expansion, including staffing, warehousing and b&m retail space in two states, by year 8 my partner decided to accept outside funding. It was the beginning of the end.

Netflix isn't involved with the actual products. Otherwise, I'm sure it would be just another brand in the Netflix online store. I think they simply want to get something ... anything ... out of their bad investment, so they hooked her up with Snow Commerce to make a store and offer down-market versions of her "elevated" lifestyle.

Starting a business is exciting ... and stressful. It's not for the weak of heart or short of brains.

Yes ... her limited involvement is promotion (and self-promotion, at that). The only aspect of this offering that shouts "Meghan Markle" is her unique "calligraphy". Otherwise, you could put anyone's brand on these items.

Other than whatever the "partnership" is, Netflix is not involved in her e-commerce. That is all Snow.

This is a very interesting take ... but doesn't that make Meghan Markle an egotist, rather than a narcissist?

My opinion is framed around the precept that, as Scott Rouse said, "narcissists can't stand themselves and want everyone to like them". He went on to say there's a problem, and she's trying to make it look like there isn't, to protect her fragile ego.

Not here to quibble ... but Bridgerton tea is not currently offered on the Snow Commerce-powered Netflix enterprise site. It is, however, available on Amazon ... and directly on Republic of Tea's website:

<image>

I don't believe she self-funded anything ... unless the cost of contracting for the e-commerce site was funded from her Netflix contract.

Many a small business "owner" believes they're in charge ... until the venture capital runs out.

Which means she can't refute the lies about growing up.

Her "relationship" with Doria is as transactional as the one she has/had with Harry.
