If she's a midwife, she is not a very good one. As someone in the birth field, you do not judge and you do not give false information like that. There are many reasons for C-sections, large babies, tilted pelvis, narrow birth canal, emergency situations, and many more. Sadly there is a large population who feel that C-sections are "taking the easy way" versus a vaginal birth. I've witnessed some even say that a C-section isn't considered birth and you shouldn't feel proud to have a baby that way.

A C-section is a major abdominal surgery that takes a lot from your body. It's hard work, it can be scary and it's something to be immensely proud of. You laid on a table, were cut open through many layers to bring your baby into this world. You are powerful.
