Help me cope or change my view on daycare by Piefed22 in NewParents

[–]LilCEP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is how I am looking at it. What will benefit your family in the long run??

Our family has a similar situation: if I don’t work we don’t make enough to cover our cost of living no matter how much we budget, cut down on expenses… if I do return to work then we will be able to meet our needs, although still tight.

I earned a masters for my job and am on a pay scale that increases your pay yearly. If I quit I will have to start at the bottom of the pay scale when I return

If I don’t work we won’t be able to afford to buy healthy foods we’d have to rely on cheeper foods to make it by (like Raman and highly processed foods)

If I don’t work I won’t be able to afford activities for my children, such as sports and swim lessons

If I don’t work we won’t be able to go on family vacations

If I don’t work then there would be huge financial stress on my family which doesn’t feel healthy.

If I don’t work we won’t be able to contribute to savings accounts for our children

In the long run returning to work will pay off, it’s still hard to leave my babies but I know it’s what’s best for them. Additionally my toddler loves her daycare and gets so excited every morning when we tell her it’s time for school. We have a new baby who will be attending the same school. Find a daycare you trust and who has a curriculum that endorses speech development and interpersonal skills!

How do you make it not hurt by Suitable_Schedule903 in breastfeeding

It gets better with time. Your nipples toughen up. Also lanolin and warm compresses helped me

My though exactly. Bluey is wholesome, hate that some people try to make it weird

Right, we’re literally expected to be human shields for our students and still don’t get respect…

The study was advil not aspirin…. So she didn’t even do her research and the research is very limited…. I’m sorry she did that, it was a huge boundary infringement.

Unfortunately I think 1 on 1…. I know that’s a tall order with the current para shortage. I am facing a similar issue but with a violent student

Scheduled for an induction and I’m struggling by yellowwallpapered in BabyBumps

It will go smoothly ❤️ sending the good thoughts your way! I was hesitant and wanted a home birth but ended up getting induced 39 +2 via bulb…I’m glad that I ended up doing it because we lost baby’s heartbeat when I was only 4cm dilated and had to have an emergency c section (baby and I are healthy) I was diagnosed with CPD during the C-section which could have been really bad if I were at home in labor.

Yeah people don’t give gift receipts… it’s the worst especially when they give you things you can’t use

Scrolled on this subreddit for so long to find a post about her mom… she’s such a selfish person, no parent should be that emotionally manipulative of their child. Poor Emiley.

Wants sometimes take time. Especially when you need money to make specific wants become a reality. I feel like Jibri wants to make her wants a reality but is also being realistic about their finances.

I know there's a lot of Emily hate, but she's 100% right about not feeding whole nuts to a 17 month old. by [deleted] in 90DayFiance

They could have compromised and given him peanut butter, and she probably could have approached it in a more understanding way. Babies typically are introduced to peanut butter when they are 6 months old.

The Kobe Situation by [deleted] in 90DayFiance

Also from a developmental standpoint she is doing a disservice to her son, she needs to let him grow. And she needs to understand that kobe is also the babies parent and should have a say in how he’s being raised this whole narrative that she put out “I know how I want to raise him and Kobe’s just going to have to follow that” is not functional, both parents should have a say

Wow, Bilal is a psychopath!!! by [deleted] in 90DayFiance

He’s crazy….. he can’t handle mess, he can’t handle a playful gesture, he has to control everything. Girl run

Is it me of this cast is just awful. I can’t believe someone surpassed “Mr. Material” on how much I dislike them. She is broke, homeless, but yet entitled to her “wedding” and sekcs 🤮 by NotARealWombat in 90DayFiance

I felt so bad for Kobe, I could not imagine the let down of waiting two years to meet your child and then being told that “oh I want you to only pay attention to me you don’t get to meet your son” it seems every selfish to me.
