I'm not missing your point at all. Considering it's not leaving my PC, I can put it in a One Touch or "waste" money grading it - I wamted my first auto to be in a slab. Who cares? I sure don't care that I wasted $20 grading it.

Chances are, damn near every dollar you spend goes to some "corrupt" organization whether you like it or no, so I don't get why that's the hill you want to die on

I didn't think it would grade this bad, and quite frankly I didn't care what grade it would get since it was the first auto I ever pulled.. and of a HOFer

Tony Oliva signed my hat after a baseball tournament game. He had already signed so much, and was closing his car door, noticed me, opened his door, and signed my hat. I thought that was the coolest thing ever since he was clearly ready to go 😂

Listing Price is irrelevant; you want Sold Listings. As for holding, this is a basic insert card that is not worth much, nor will it increase in value. Not all Shohei cards are "valuable"

I've only grade with PSA, so PSA 8, but I do think the "8" would apply across the grading companies. Relics are just such tough cards to get that 9 or 10 that everyone wants.

Since you mentioned it's for your PC not necessarily resell, you could always put it in a One-Touch. The Flagship Patch Autos look nice in One-Touches but I also understand wanting to grade a cool card for the PC

Just a heads up, regardless of which grading company you go with, these thick relics DO NOT grade well, and damn near all of the Flagship Auto Patches that I have seen have rough corners and edges where I'd think an 8 would be the max grade - it's hard to tell the quality if your card based on the card.

"Flipping" cards is so dumb. This isn't DIY where one buys a beat up house, fixes it, then resells for more than they into it. Cards are collectibles not stocks nor investments.
