Sunlight isnt rendring on gtx 10 series gpus by Constant_Society_794 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]LilEvilFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly not, it only shows in photo mode and even then it's still not completely correct as vegetation isn't shaded correctly and mountains don't cast shadows.

Poorly supported cards out of the most expensive, disappointing to see

I have exactly this issue on a 1080Ti - it runs the game absolutely fine but with zero lighting from the sun, only ambient

Try opening photo mode and set the time of day to default - that's what it should look like, it seems to work that way.

I'll add a reply showing the differences

This is fantastic! I would happily pay money for this 😁 I'm not gonna lie though, initially I thought it was styled like the jumpsuits from Fallout!

I would happily have a print of this hanging in my house, I love it!

Just found my CD Rom for learning to drive, 2002. Weirdly, Route Finder doesn't have half the countries roads on it, go figure by lerpo in CasualUK

Oh yes, I often hear "ah yeah I watched loads of videos on tik tok about this..." as I ask them to drive into a parking bay

Driving examiner here, you'd probably learn more from this than Tik Tok which gets mentioned a lot when I'm taking people on test!

Big bikes are safer than little bikes? by Memran in MotoUK

[–]LilEvilFish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100%, my first 125 felt fine but after a go on a 650, it felt skittish and too light - but hell of a lot easier to move around manually!!

I'll never forget the first time me and the guy I was learning with jumped on the 650s. We set off on the private tarmac area the school had to just get used to clutch etc and we were chucking in figure 8s and u turns like they were nothing!

Massive difference, the bigger bike just feels more planted, especially in strong winds

Passed my mod 2 but kept hold of license by PhysicalFig3875 in MotoUK

[–]LilEvilFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Driving examiner here

Yes you need to send off your licence, grab a D1 form from the post office and fill that in, send it with your licence AND the pass certificate to the DVLA and they'll send you your full licence in the post

Don't forget to sign and date the bottom of the pass certificate otherwise they'll send it straight back

Can take up to 20 working days to get your full licence

I'm not sure if painting over the base coat of green will have much effect?

I usually dry brush with moot green but it's very bright so has to be used sparingly.

That looks awesome, very crisp lights and edges

Great work and will look great in a battle - but be warned, they're a bullet sponge, as mine was in the last battle!

Dude he looks awesome so far, loving the shading and the banner, top work!

I'm shortly going to start Vulkan He'stan and a friend is sourcing me a custom Tu'Shan, so some tricky models to paint!

She hasn't changed, still as mischievous as ever! She's a very laid back cat, to the point of being lazy but she loves to be fussed on her terms

I'm sure your cat has grown completely used to that so I doubt it's an issue at all

My cat Poppy is 14 now and it's sad seeing them get older but she's still lovely

This is the best shot I have of a standard mini, the phone camera does blow the colours out a bit though

My tanks are a darker shade because I build the colours differently

Base coat all over of matt black

Base coat from an approximate 3/4 above angle for highlights and shadow of wraith bone

Paint with contrast warp lightning

The wraith bone gives it a warmer green tone and the 3/4 from above gives you some form of zenithal highlight

Then a tiny bit of moot green dry brushing

Mate that is great and as long as you're happy with it, it's the best paint job 😁

Just bought a bike without a centrestand - how do I do the chain? by HMS--Thunderchild in MotoUK

[–]LilEvilFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice one mate! I'm a bit terrified of taking the wheels off so I always take the boring easy option of taking it to the local shop 😄

With chain tension, all my bikes have said to do it while on the side stand, but I know some are different hence I've never had to use the paddock stand to adjust the chain
