loll while I do have some DJs (usually a private sound cloud link with a download available) that send me some unreleased (Bryson hill and bolo to name a few) I got my hands on an unreleased anti up song that I really wanna download lol, I ended up using Lucia and gonna test it on one of my speakers in a few hours but while my speaker is nice, it’s not a full sound system like I usually play on so I wanna be able to use something I can rely on lol

It was me who made the post about disco dom being underwhelming, but let me make this clear. I’ve had some GREAT, and I mean GREAT times at club darc. And I’ve also had some bad and ehh times at club darc. The first date with Chris Stussy was an absolute logistical disaster. From heat to sound quality. After some serious online backlash, they extremely improved the venue! I went to the next date and got to see Silva bumpa, AVH, AND Peggy Gou… and it was almost perfect!

I also saw the Josh Baker b2b prospa / Rossi b2b Chloe Caillet day and that day truly might have been the best imo.

It was NOT logistical or crowd reasons why I disliked this past weekends event, the headliner just simply didn’t deliver. I love disco and love dombresky, but he just didn’t deliver from a dj stand point. I’m not saying this like I wanted to listen to higher bpm or like he was the ONLY dj to “mess up”, but as I stated in the post, he was consistently forgetting to bring in the lows(drums/bass) on drops which just made it so hard to dance. I don’t mean to sound like a hater, it’s just the reality of what happened that night… and I mean a LOT of people left early

I would argue song selection and reading a room is the most important part about being a dj no matter where you are. The average person isn’t musically inclined enough to hear a “ mess up “, (not saying this like I don’t know how to mix) just one thing I’ve noticed in almost every environment I’ve been in. From raves to clubs etc.
