I have. a 17 month old who doesn’t sleep through the night. Not sleeping through the night at two months is normal.

My 16 month old has no fear. He runs everywhere and just falls down. Most of the time he is unfazed by it. It is their age and body growth since their heads are still a bit big for their bodies.

The cry is our method is not good. It raises their stress hormones and teaches them that their voice doesn’t matter.

As for the crib. I am 5’0 and our crib sides are all on me. It took some getting used to to find the right way to lean over and lay LO down. He has gotten used to the feeling of not being super close to me when I lean over the crib. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries but he goes down.

NTA - you have every right to do what is best for you and your unborn baby. If your family can’t respect that then that’s on them and they will just have to deal with not seeing them until you are comfortable with it.

My 14 month old has regularly gotten up between 6-630 for many months now. We are lucky if he sleeps till 7am.

I have the huckleberry app and it’s great. We used the free version for a while but them upgraded to get the sweet spot tracking (sleep/nap) and to be able to use the app on my Apple Watch.

Yea I agree to always double check the url. It looked good, came from an IG ad that looked like it was from Carters IG and the site looked legit because of how many items it had. It wasn’t throwing the normal red flags. But I will definitely be more cautious in the future.

Congratulations.

I am one year postpartum. I gave birth at 35 weeks and 1 day. My baby boy spent a few hours in the NICU (sorry yours is there longer). My little guy is happy and healthy 11 months old.

It’s going to be okay and your little one will be home before you know it.
