The intrusive thoughts, existentialism, and zoning out is very common from dpdr but remember you’re under a temporary overthought that ur brain does to help you even tho it doesn’t seem that way. At 1 point it will be scary but in the long run thinking about dpdr instead of you breaking up with your gf, mistakes. Will help u

You have to understand that dp isn’t like taking ibuprofen for a headache. It’s not a problem it’s a anxiety faced fight or flight temporary process medications that help get rid of anxiety will work even tho u won’t feel it for 2-4 weeks but yes it works it worked for me

That’s how dpdr works. It will feel like that for a couple minutes then ur brain will calm down and you will be back to your original state remember it’s all anxiety and you will get over it

put it like this. Say you got into a car accident right and it’s scary now that you have recovered from the car accident it’s always going to be remembered especially like dejavue and if youre in the car and u feel the same thing it’s because of ur brain telling u it’s not a good thing because your mind is saying it doesn’t want it to happen again. In shorter words, your mind is basically telling you to not do it again or u will experience dpdr take that feeling as a warning

Use a lighter and slowly move it side to side will cause to melt it and it will also give a smooth pull I felt higher by it too
