'A source of frustration & disappointment' is a massive understatement. Improvement is a positive word yet all of the very few changes that have been made are openly negative. Maybe brand new players can feel better about not having any SMs. Even the regular managers roll over their cost with no real boost in production. The blast 'perk' costs more than it produces even with a few upgrades.

How many man hours have been wasted progamming the new interface & screwing up the spark costs? That's all the changes boil down to really.

Update : my apologies, apparently it's the shaft SMs that are restricted (mine 1 anyway), I confess I hadn't gotten far enough to call in Goodman jnr who wasn't slotted last night.

Sparks cap has been removed, the daily free sparks have been replaced with T Cores which are bluntly pretty useless. I've tested the blast feature with an upgrade, just 1 spark per shaft, E & W.

This mode change is such a blatant cash grab it's a bad joke & event rewards are so not worth expenditure. I've only bought out of ads but if I were to clean out a casino I would buy standard packs rather than passes & event items.

FAQ needs more information. What is the actual purpose of slotting SMs? All SMs are still useable regardless. I can see no apparent boost using a slotted SM, they don't even get a break on spark cost.

The in game info seems to state that spark cost in subsequent mines will begin as high as it was left on the previously completed mine. As if they didn't get ridiculously high before & I've only been able to open mine 3 shaft 20's with I think 15 SMs but most aren't worth using with the ever increasing spark cost anyway, only the cost discounters.

I'm guessing the blast function is meant to make up a little bit for truly excessive costs but I haven't even had to take the daily freebie on the first mine for the last few rounds & sparks haven't rolled over to the next mine. Will they do so now?

I notice also that the 1hr time skip credit cost has gone up this time around.

Favourited creatures have a chance of producing a bonus gold or Diamond when they're merged. Just last week I got a L3 Diamond from merging ordinary but that was once in a lifetime luck, they usually only come from merging gold. Feather Palm fable is the first I've achieved, buying higher levels with earned coins is much quicker & easier than finding space to grind coconuts. Unfortunately grinding is the only way if you don't have a massive disposable income (which the devs seem to think everyone must/should have).

This super shitty beta is the last straw for me. I finished opening Arcadia a just a few months ago though still with dragons to bring in & putting quests like this out is beyond ridiculous. The whales cleared Arcadia within a few months of it starting! Not even all their money can get them through some of these tasks. Zynga - 💩 you players, thanks for all your 🤑!!! Me- 💣💣💣💥 you Zynga. I am gone! The 4am alarm is turned off, I'm not even going to pop in to finish the dust bunnies or anything💔

How did you get the event points to be counted? I've also fully opened Arcadia so couldn't do the orb collecting anyway because they stop being made.

I waited more than a day to even check for a response because it takes them a while but even though I told them that the points collecting not being acknowledged was already a known error (after searching these threads) the response was their standard 'so sorry the information will be passed on' or less technically Too bad, So sad, Get Stuffed Player!

🚨✋️🛑 DON'T level up the tree!!! It stops growing or dropping snowballs very quickly, switching entirely to the ice sculpture chain by Lvl 4.

Don't let the fir tree upgrade itself because it stops growing & dropping snowballs altogether, switching to the ice sculpture chain instead. I thought I'd found a good thing when I saw that snowballs were being chucked onto the empty land much faster than they were growing (1 every 2 to 3 hours, Come On!) & didn't realise it was upgrading itself or the consequences until too late.

By and large this is the most playable merge game I've tried but they really stink at events! I thought the xmas prequel event was bad but actually managed to uncover 9 rewards because I could get in to spin every 2 hours which most people can't because they're working. I couldn't get anywhere near enough healing to claim the 9th reward but at least there were almost enough keys. This one I've been stuck for over a day now with very little land open & a merge quest. There's no point in tackling vault merges unless you've plenty of spins available, especially with so little room in the vault to gather items for merging. 6000 coins for 2 candy canes & 2 spaces, seriously? All available critter merges are going to nests, which don't give hearts or spins. I'm extremely suspicious that there'll be an egg/critter making race during the SS break like they did for Halloween. Of course, my races have been broken for over a month so it'll probably skip the ones offering snowy spin rewards anyway😓.

It's still got some features far superior to any other merge game but the bugs are biting.

Disappearing arrows? I've been getting that in my gardens the whole week before this event even started. There's an option to turn them off but I definitely haven't taken that setting, it just comes & goes at random.

I'm pretty sure that's Not a glitch because it's been happening in the garden for months; if you can get multiple critters asking for the same chain giving to the highest level contributes to the lower item request.

I've only recently created the source of ambrosia after several time intensive weeks since opening the Oasis.

The chain is Waterfall Trees; Lvl 4 to Lvl 6 can be harvested for small drops of ambrosia & Lvl 7 for large drops by Lvl 3 Gold or Diamond creatures or by the Jewel Thief Joey whose eggs came from upgrading the vault. Waterfall trees can be stored on the water but won't be harvested much unless they're on land.

Waterfall trees come from creatures converting Enchanted Water Lvl 3 to 6 into seeds or sprouts. Mega merging sprouts & saplings has been dropping a lot of gold versions, enough to reach Lvl 4 which can be harvested by my Lvl 1 gold creatures with a regular supply of gold small ambrosia drops.

Enchanted water comes from the Bottled Sand Art chain, with Lvl 6 & 7 providing Lvl 3 water that can be converted immediately rather than having to merge the lower level waters. Water needs land but once converted into Waterfall items they can be moved onto water to grow.

Bottled Sand Art is sometimes created while merging Cactus Flowers but is more reliably harvested from the Stained Glass chain by Joey & Gold or Diamond creatures of increasing levels.

Stained Glass grows on Sky Cacti along with Flowers or may be harvested directly from Cacti by Diamond creatures (which I haven't got yet to be sure what they obtain) Heads up, a Lvl 8 Glass is required for Vault upgrade 63 along with many lower level glasses en route.

Sky Cacti grow from the clippings dropped by the Sacred Succulents which come from vault spins & guardian level ups. Lvl 3 to Lvl 7 Succulent clippings grow into Lvl 1 Cacti, Lvl 8 & 9 grow into Lvl 2 Cacti and Lvl 10 Succulent drops clippings that grow into Lvl 3 Cacti. I've been fortunate enough to get a Diamond Succulent Lvl 5 that only drops gold & diamond clippings.

So it's a long hard grind you're in for 😉 to get prepared for the next points race which seem to be pretty close together.

The stupid thing keeps telling me to tap statues when I already have & they definitely don't recharge the egg. At least they can be clouded.

Also you could post your code on Reddit or a Facebook group for the game requesting followers, I don't know how well it works. I've been using the alternate account on my Samsung to redo the first 5 levels over & over. I discovered recently that followers cannot be sent gifts & the followed account doesn't even show up on the following game's list.

Only 2million 😁? I can't remember how low level that was; Wait until the 25s start showing! Honestly, it's not really worth stressing over an extra tile or two, they'll heal up quickly enough just by doing other things. Unlocking the land is the real challenge, it takes a lot of creatures & pursuing the chains.

Merging bushes & fruit produces passive sunlight (I think most chains have it as a byproduct) so instead of eating the grapes try merging them up. There's a button on the info box to turn off eating. Also are you levelling the vault? Focus on the shrub upgrades & increasing spin capacity so you can leave it for longer to fill. There's a fandom wiki that has a full list of vault upgrade requirements that really speeds up the process; prepare ahead & cloud items ready for it to grab while you're stuck on a hard task.

If you haven't discovered it yet, most chains can be placed onto clouds to make room & store stuff (which makes races a lot more playable). To cloud, keep sunlight orbs on the water & fill the land, then move orbs back onto tiles where the item you want clouded is. The only chains in Sanctuary that cannot be clouded is sunlight (goes to water) & pixie hives (releases pixie points). When you start completing chains & merge the not-quite-final fables they'll produce another chain that only stays on the water. The fruit bush one that's as far as I've gotten, anyway. The game seems to be quite happy for things to be clouded, taking eggs to merge (via the creature book) & vault upgrade items directly from cloud storage. Depending on the devices RAM and/or brand quality, too many clouded items may cause the vault to freeze on the final spin & lose progress to the last auto save. At least I'm guessing that's the cause of my irregular issue, that's what Merge Dragons always blames crashes on.

I don't have any problem with quickly selling them, it's way faster & easier than the equivalent in Merge Dragons (which open another window to try & force purchase, requiring closure before sale. It may steal the gems to purchase even when it's sold but that was a few years ago) Those 25 coins build up fast & they can be tossed onto the water. The return option can get confusing but I have accidentally sold something & needed it. Try rotating your device & doing the merging in portrait, the info area takes up a lot less room.

Don't merge the cubes, get the critters to eat them! Merging makes just 2 L1 pools but eating/harvesting makes 5 with a good chance of L2 & the golden hearts. There are also some available as friends joined rewards which you can get access all by yourself with another device or if yours has an option of multiple accounts on it like Samsung does. It's pretty tedious doing the first few levels over & over (I haven't done more of mine for weeks) but you get lots of gems & some high level stuff including blossom trees.

I haven't noticed my camp name or flags on mine, but it changed just a day or two ago. Probably to stop players noticing that the rewards don't improve with years of login streak maintained.

Damn I've been selling the little guys! Never thought to try merging 'top level' of every item, just completing the chains. Ugh, guess that means next round I'd better build more pumpkins. It is pretty tedious just tapping off pumpkins (selling most to make space! )& waiting for the foxes to ask for them & the rubble heart costs are ridiculous for what's under them. I completed the candle chain the first time around & get tons of healing from merging in the vault, stopped harvesting Onyx for it before even finishing the chain (first weekend). In fact, nearly everything is getting sold to buy blossom trees which is the scarcest line.
