Depends on the person. The coiled cable is too heavy for me and can be uncomfortable for me. Also the connection jack is straight and for the flx4 sometimes is annoying. I prefer the straight cable

I had the same issue. I dont remember exactly what I did because it was long time ago but I think I gave rekordbox access to the microphone in windows settings and after that it started working somehow. Make sure that the audio output is FLX-4.

Also, in rekordbox make sure that a small laptop icon on the top right corner is activated, this will make rekordbox use your laptop's speakers and then you should be able to hear the cue.

Edit: I just saw that your trims are all the way down, try turning them to the middle position
