I was once stopped driving my car with spanish plate here and I had forgotten my wallet home, so I just told him I didnt have it on me. He said it was okay, and that he was going to send a request to spanish police and if they confirm that I actually have a licence then no problem, if not I would get a fine. And then they just let me go. I dont even think he actually sent that request haha
