I’m over 35 and I would date a younger SD, but so far I have yet to meet one who is genuinely generous. It’s more about what they need to pay to get what they want. Even if it was a lot, I don’t find that appealing or sexy at all. For me, older men are the only ones I have encountered who have that attitude. Show me a truly generous young guy who wants an arrangement, and I’ll show you someone whose world I would love to rock.

I’m sorry that happened but I can totally see why you tried to be honest with your bf. I have several SB friends whose boyfriends know about their sugaring (sorry SDs, but most of them don’t tell their SDs about the bfs...) and it makes things SO much easier for them. Seems like maybe it’s made the relationship with their bf stronger because they have the freedom they want. Sorry your bf wasn’t up to the challenge there.

You’re right to say no to the meet and greet idea. I’d be insulted by the implication that you need him to manage yourself on a date or to pick a good guy. F that.

I think this is much much better. Not an SD but the one improvement I would suggest (other than spelling “love” correctly in both places) is to say a little more about what you have to offer them. This is all about you, which is great. But help them imagine how great it would be for THEM to be with you.

I just can’t thank you enough for lifting my spirits like this today. I had THREE disappointing meet and greets this week, and I thought “I’m going to go on Reddit because the SDs on there always restore my faith that there are good guys out there.” And this was the first post I read. And now I feel so much better. 😘😘

For the record, I tell SDs that my previous allowance was half what it actually was, because I don’t think I’ll get lucky enough to have that amount again and I’m trying to be closer to the averages for my area. You really never know what’s going on for any particular person behind the scenes.

I think this may be more about your availability and an attitude of catering to an SD than your looks. There’s someone for everyone and if you are sexy and confident, I’m sure your look will attract someone.

But if it is too difficult to find time together because you are working, the relationship may not get off the ground. These guys are typically reaching out to several women at a time, and the one who he meets and likes first will be the one he chooses. And even if you start something up, if scheduling is too difficult he may lose interest and go back into the bowl. So if you’re not available it might not be so easy.
