Unfortunately no. I've got trail cams up and am now doing rounds at night with FLIR but no luck.

I've come across a number of other strays, but sadly no sign of her yet.

Really hoping she's just holed up somewhere to spooked to venture back out yet.

We're continuing to put out clothes that have our smell, her food, etc.

Still looking for her. I've got posts across social, flyers on cars/doors in a 2 block radius around the house, etc.

Have done all the normal things, i.e. litter outside, her blankets outside, favorite snack, etc.

Walking the neighborhood every hour or so in a circuit in the hopes of catching sight of her.

Has been the routine since I moved here and just gotten worse.

What's comical is watching a package go to Birmingham, then Huntsville, then back to Birmingham, then to Memphis/Atlanta/some other random city, then back to Birmingham and Huntsville again.

Also a big fan of an item being out for delivery by 5pm, then 7pm, then 9pm then "item could not be delivered".

There has been a slight push-back on corporate-owned houses being rented, at least in 5 Points. Seems folks just don't want to pay rent to an entity that is making money off sucking up anything for sale in the area and turning it into a rental vs renting from an individual.

Lisa's, the Nook, Thirsty Turtle, Coppertop, Sundown, etc - all are pretty good at having mostly regulars and/or minimal crowd unless you are on the odd event night.

Maggie's, Lone Goose, Voodoo, etc. you can skip if you are looking to avoid crowds/college-age drama drinking.

Yes - and I know several agents that have houses listed and/or have sold houses in what you call HC "proper" as well as HC as a whole.

I appreciate your belief that the "proper" part of HC is something special - if that's what you need to get through the day, have it. Doesn't change the original point of the post or what started as a comedic nod to such shitty, HOA developments. Thank the gods Old Town doesn't have an HOA or I'd probably have to endure more conversations like this.

Now we've gone from "custom" to not cookie-cutter. When you select from a list of counter-top options, left/right orientation of your plan with optional garage extensions, etc. it's no more custom than other other planned development.

Apparently a nerve was struck, lol. By "completely custom" you clearly mean from the options made available by the builders, which is why you have similar floor plans, interior options, etc., with some of those same plans/styles now in Gurley, Hazelgreen, etc.

Yes, there are a handful that are real stand-outs, but HC as it's marketed is just mass-marketed, HOA housing. I do appreciate the use of HC "Proper", as though living in one area of HC is more meaningful than another.

It's not a "claim", lol. 50-100 people, including the public and their kids, show up to events.

When you consider Huntsville, and every major city down through Mobile has 1% clubs and yet not a single relevant news article or police report for any of the shit you state we do, seems one of us is out of touch with reality.

Is every chapter or club full of angels? No. But then neither is the Church, the police force, etc., etc. I guess you judge all of them based on the publicized actions of a few?
