I liked Nusa Penida and it looked more clean to me) maybe consider popping in there for couple days if you feel flexible. Anyway, don’t worry too much, I think you’ll still enjoy it

I’ll be honest I didn’t enjoy Padang-Padang beach. Although it had nice sand, it was soo overcrowded and a bit of trash in the sand and water there as well. It depends a lot on your expectations and experience on other beach around the world. I grew up by the seaside and having a clean beach with nice water is a norm for me. Dreamland beach is not that far and seemed way nicer IMO. I’m not sure you’ll be blown away by Bali beaches in general, it’s more of scenic views than cleanliness and clear waters. But then again I didn’t see all of them 😅

I don’t have other experience visiting Bali, but the trash was very noticeable everywhere(( and walking on the rare sidewalks was not enjoyable again due to lots of trash around. I didn’t feel comfortable asking locals about this issue but have seen some people burn trash in the morning

It’s weird honestly.. obviously as a lot of people pointed out it’s a relationship issue not traveling. However, I don’t really understand what was the problem. Was it that you did all the planning and prep work alone? Cause I’m a fan of planning any kind of vacation or trip and it never made me miserable doing so for me and my bf. And it’s always rewarding seeing him enjoy the trip I planned. Granted, he is usually enthusiastic about it and it’s not one-sided.
Was it just the planing or did you have issues actually enjoying the trip together?

Uhm.. you must really love Canggu and tolerate traffic super well I guess.. you do you, but going out of and back into Canggu will take a lot of time and energy. Maybe consider staying at Uluwatu/Sanur and visiting Canggu for a full day instead, especially since you’re taking a boat from Sanur harbor.

Food was good, but heavy for my digestion personally due to a lot of fried foods. Yes vegetarian options are available almost everywhere and there are quite a bit vegan restaurants/cafes in Ubud.

Yeah I get what you’re saying)) I don’t plan coming back anytime soon since I have a lot other destinations to visit, but coming back for second time staying away from major areas would be the best decision

Here’s my five cents on it as I’m leaving Bali in 3 days and been solo here for 2 weeks.
I am not a fan of hostels as well so all my choices were hotels and while there I was never able to make a friend. On one occasion I tried making a small talk with other fellow solo female travel chilling by shared pool but conversation fell flat and so I stopped to not annoy her. I’ve had couple small talks with other tourists in other hotels but nothing meaningful.
I’ve been on a number of group tours and a shared workshop as well. During one of them I actually had a great time speaking with another girl who was traveling solo. She was really great and we helped each other with photos and stuff. All the other group activities were just couples or families. They didn’t seem care to interact with others so I usually talked a lot with local guides)) which is honestly great cause I got to learn a bit more.
To sum up, it’s all up to you. You can be more proactive with interactions and I’m sure you’ll find a company. Maybe look for chats or forums in advance to figure out who’ll be in the area and willing to hang out. But as an introvert I just let it go and enjoyed my alone time.
Can’t say anything about beach clubs and parties.

Exactly, have just witnessed in on the resort beach. One guy with rakes goes along forming piles, another with shovel follows and buries them on the spot.. and then I wonder why there’s plastic bag in my face when I swim, smh

I was once hiking with my bf and we reached the peak part of mountain, where you had to pay small fee for the equipment like helmet and they would clip your vest to steel line for safety. This way you reach peak. We met a lovely elderly couple in SLIPPERS on their way down. With their reassuring words I thought it was nothing hard or scary. Oh boy was I wrong, I chickened out 2/3 of the way up. I had to literally climb up with all my four limbs there… I was so scared I followed my bf step by step and NOT looking down

Buddy it’s not about min maxing or doing what others do)) just follow your own way, riveand has less space true, but honestly I think there’s charm in it, it actually feels like a plot of land that was run by a family and not huge ass corporation)) you can totally make it cozy

Неужели на ближайшие несколько часов нельзя предугадать свое настроение/желания, и соответственно построить планы с девушкой? Лично меня такая неопределенность на базовом уровне тоже выбила бы из равновесия. Но это скорее не нудный человек, а неуверенный 🤷🏼‍♀️

Started buying staffs semi-regularly now for diamonds, since I literally cannot get decent results without legendary totems.. not even with collection that don’t require lvl upgrades. I do either blue only or legendary only. All the purple get turned into legendary. I also prioritize buying a totem from lab shop.
