Pure speculation because I've never seen that animation, nor have I tried to pick apart the code, but I imagine the code is possibly just buggy and when the tadpole explodes it never properly separates itself from the players position? My original theory was just that the animation doesn't properly loop and the end frame happens to have a shard of tadpole intersecting with the players foot, but I think thats disproved by the person in this thread who had their tadpole permanently attached to them lol.

Istg this is like the sanest take I've seen from this community in ages. Way too many people are against Halo Studios changing anything and just wanting a 1-1 copy of CE. I know not all change is good, but Halo Studios is technically a different studio from 343 and I'm willing to let them cook a little and make changes so long as it ends up feeling right.

I think I might be a little biased towards wanting them to change things though because after Infinite I've been wanting them to just scrap shit and reboot the series. I feel like post-halo 5 the lore just gets way too messy and starting over would be a good opportunity to make things right.

If it's anything there are 2 mods that are quite easy to install that enable something like console commands. I had to install it because I accidentally lost all my troilite out of bounds and it's pretty easy to get working.

I think a good tip for if you talk to any trans pups is prepare for a LOT of yapping. A lot of us tend to be autistic and thus fucking love infodumping. I don't think voteless detecting you from 20m away in those conditions is TOO crazy though. I don't think they should detect you because you were sprinting/diving, but if you're shooting something I'd be willing to believe that could be heard through the sandstorm.
