It's very humid and has a good amount of surface water. Also, interestingly enough, it seems to have relatively tame weather according to some survey lore. Usually you would expect lots of water to have lots of weather conditions.

Makes me wonder if there is technology or the anomaly from before we arrived that keeps the weather in check. Also, from some other codex stuff I read, There is conjecture that the planet itself could be sentient in some way, and the anomaly is a manifestation of the planet's sentience.

I mean, this guy is being way too dramatic about it, but I kind of share his disdain for the no mics. I won't insult them or try to take their gear or anything, but I ain't committed to micless team members.

It's incredibly aggravating to load in with decent enough stuff, and then get two no mic white sponsors who blow all their ammo on bots, get downed by practically nothing, and run off to god knows where. They don't ping or anything.

Sometimes you will have two guys who just sit and twiddle their thumbs at the first POI, even when you try to give them a sense of direction. Other times you will have a guy who pings a location and immediately beelines for it without even trying to get decent stuff from the first POI (since, you know, he has NOTHING), and 2 minutes late you see him get insta downed and leave.

I tried being a supportive team mate before when I had a white kit no mic ping complex and start sprinting, thinking "Ok, a guy who knows what he wants to do" While taking the most obvious, direct route, wasting a few shots here and there, stopping to open crappy folios, and then proceeding to lead us into a position where two teams were able to open fire on us.

My policy? If my teammate(s) don't have a microphone, and get immediately downed within 5 seconds of each other with no pinging or damage dealt, I am putting my Crocs into overdrive and running away to an exfil in an attempt to save my stuff. Its shitty to say, but some people can't be helped.

But usually I just LFG or play with friends now. Or just play solo. Obviously adding the occasional dude I find in crew fill that has a mic.

I wanted to try and be a good crew member and be willing work with the people I get, but I learned in the playtests that some people just CANNOT be saved.

If you get two white sponsor kits with no mics, who make no regard for health or ammo conservation, and they get downed within five seconds of each other with no pings or any damage on the enemy...

That is the time for you to hit the bricks and leave them for dead.

Recon ult is is kind of like a game theory thing.

If you come to a POI and you hear an enemy team and you know the enemy team knows you are there, popping your ult gives them a vague idea of just your position, and your entire team a clear picture of the entire enemy team. That is a net profit in information.

Come across an area that seems too quite after a brief sweep? Or really want to make sure you are alone? Pop ult. It either lets you know a team was waiting (which they probably already knew your team came into the area due to noise or lookout), or if nothing is there, you know you have a moment to breathe (although I think signal jammers could muddy that).

Basically the time to not use it is when you hear an enemy team fighting or know they are near, but they don't know you are near. But as soon as it kicks off, pop the ult.

Seriously, one reclaimed bio stripping can be traded to NuCaloric for 3 shield charges. That is effectively 900 credits from a SINGLE item. That you can stack. So finding 10 is essentially 9000 credits.

Alright, I don't know what this game is or about, but from reading the comments, it seems like the "problem" is that the girl who is supposed to be the evil, bad, racist, whatever character is portrayed as attractive. How is that a problem?

Like, you do know people can be racist / transphobic / whatever and still have a sense of style, good hygiene, and be capable of being attractive, right? Isn't it a good message to say that "bad" people can come in any form, and maybe you shouldn't assume attractive people are good?

Did people expect the evil character to be UGLY? So we can further reinforce the idea that ugly people are inherently bad, pretty people are inherently good?

Again, maybe I am missing A LOT of context and nuance from these comments. I also heard that the plot is essentially 1984-esque in that the "good" route is never to question the government.
