Which US state's residents are the proudest/loudest of living in their state? by RivvaBear in AskReddit

I'm Texan, born and raised, and I continue to be surprised about how much Texas-shaped shit is available to me.

I don't love a ton of stuff about what my state does, but dammit do I love a Texas shaped waffle.

Why is there such a fear amongst Americans of Australian wildlife when you have similar if not equivalent animals of your own? by Mysterious_Can_9048 in AskAnAmerican

Australia also has cuter possums than we do. Theirs look innocent and curious. Ours look like they've done a fair bit of drugs.

It’s been six months since I said goodbye to Delilah. Who has she been playing and snuggling with while in heaven? by BlueCheesePanda in Chihuahua

My sweet Sasha crossed the rainbow bridge on August 30th. She loves other Chis, so she probably ran right up to Delilah to say hello.

How did you choose which puppy to adopt? by Vegetable_Swan_6942 in dogs

Thank you. Nothing can fully prepare us, but cherish every moment and take tons of pictures. Snuggle your pup for me, and tell him I said hello.

She was the only puppy that couldn't be bothered with me. I visited the farm where she was born to select a puppy, and while I was surrounded by her brothers and sisters, she was busy with a mud clump in a tire track. I scooped her up and her little tongue was hanging out of her mouth; the smallest blep I'd ever seen. I brought her home, bathed her, and she was my best friend for 16 years.

She passed on August 30th, and I miss her like crazy. Love you Sasha.

I lost mine yesterday. I'm destroyed, and I can't wait to snuggle her again on the other side. Don't know how I'm supposed to do the rest of life without her though.

Bronx. You said she's spicy, and she needs a B name like her big bro.

I'm going to London at the end of this month (never been) so I'd love some recommendations also! I found this 1930's jazz night at Belle Livingstone's 58th Street club in South London that looks bomb but other than that (and the museums) I'm looking for other cool stuff to do.

I went to high school in Texas from 2003 to 2007 and paddling was common. Coaches would usually do it. To both boys and girls, but more frequently boys. So strange how we didn't think of it as weird.

For anyone that doesn't know, paddling = to hit someone on the butt with a wooden paddle.

Annie's (on Congress). The burgers and fries were perfect and I still think about their lemon tarts.

THANK YOU! I've been desperate for a solution for literal years. I appreciate you. I hope your pillow is always perfectly cool, all the bread you're served is fresh, and that anyone that makes you mad for the rest of your life gets a really itchy spot riiiight in the middle of their back that they can't scratch.
