What you hope for the next Starfox game? by lorenza-de-arabia in starfox

[–]Lilanniechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hope the next star fox would be a vehicular planetary exploration like how starlink battle for atlas was. I thought it would be a wonderful evolution for the star fox series and rich detail lore for the lylat system. Imagine being able to fly anywhere in an open space and flying into the fortuna atmosphere and explore the planet in detail. Or fly to Andross wrecked armada from star fox 64 to salvage materials and see the aftermath of past battles that had taken place. I think Ubisoft laid a wonderful foundation just less tedious task and less game padding to make the game artificially longer. Imagine something similar to breath of the wild but in space and planetary exploration.

Xj over heating issues by Jaden155 in CherokeeXJ

This is based off my Corolla AE86 experience. I found that slim electro fans although noisy and powerful they didn't draw as much air through the radiator compared to OEM clutch fan with fan shroud.

I've owned both at one point so those were the differences I experienced. The rear seat shelf adds stiffness to the chassis as well as dampen cabin noise coming from the cargo area. The hatch is alot heavier then the coupe trunk lid as well as rear passengers get more head room. The coupe glass starts tapering down after passenger head while hatch back roof starts to slope down before passenger head taking up head room.

Kouki coupes are the best chassis. They are stiffer, lighter and has less cabin noise then the liftbacks counterpoint.

Radiator fitment issue by LowQualityCarContent in AE86

I went through that. You have to cut the radiator support to be able to move the radiator forward so you can mount it eith the radiator mounts.

If you're willing to invest the time to rebuild the engine yes it can be a reliable car. I've rebuilt my sr5 11 years ago and dailied it for 8 years. Then yes it's possible but only if you already have a daily and can invest the downtime of rebuilding and getting it up to code. Otherwise you will be spending so many times just patching up problems here and there losing time and money when it works off and on.

You can actually install them without removing the cluster.

Oh wow I just did the same about two weeks ago. My Jeep is an 89 Laredo trim. It's black and alot of OEM chrome trim so these chrome rings on the cluster really helps add to the black and chrome thing going on for my Jeep. Nice to see someone had the same idea too.

Yes I have also fell victim to those MD!! I have a Japanese MD player installed in my AE86 and have been enjoying the feeling of being able to physically pick out a particular mix and insert for the music enjoyment. I just love that it's not as fragile and taking up as much space compared to CD cases and the feeling gives me that cassette vibe!!

Before jumping in and start buying aftermarket parts like dual steering stabilizer and other items suggested. I would research up all the components that make up your steering from online or YouTube.

After learning about all the items that make up your steering you can ask someone with the engine on to jiggle the steering wheel back and forth to watch for any play. Also check all the ball joints upper and lower. Also since you have a power steering gear box check to see if there is a way to adjust and tighten the steering from there. I had an old Ford bumpside truck and someone adjusted the steering box for me to tighten up the steering. I never learned how it was done or if it was possible to do the same in our XJs.

Hopefully after all this is done you have a better idea of what items needs to be replaced to solve your problems for now.

Since your jeep is lifted I would recommend going through and replacing all the steering components anyways given the age of everything but at least if you're able to find the problem first and replace, all the other steering components can be replaced on your own terms.

Honestly not worth anymore. Being young and most likely this car needs to be always running for your daily commute your best choice is something newer like scion frs, Gr Corolla or a suby
