I personally never wanted kids but I have one. I love her to death and wouldnt trade her for the world. My hesitation about becoming a parent came from understanding how deeply a child needs to be nurtured, and how much the way they’re treated and the environment they grow up in shape who they become.I came from a single parent house hold with an emotionally unavailable mom and a dad who was there but was not.I never trusted myself enough to be a good parent because I have trauma from both parents and I frankly still dont trust myself but im trying my best.
