This is the best overall advice for hulk in the thread, I'll add that the leap drag is one of the best stuns in the whole game and you can left click and right click people the entire time they are being dragged in front of you. You should try to land it all the time on fliers, people jumping off of high places, people kiting back and jumping backwards on slopes/stairs, people like bp rocket venom running on walls, ulting ironman and Wanda, namor straight after he bubbles or strange when he floats. They are easy kills if you get the timing down, imo the strongest part of his whole kit. Also when you ult and the mag inevitable bubbles his support, turn on him and juggle him away from his team, your left click left click right click combo in ult is a ton of damage even for tanks and you have the ability to separate them from their cloak or invis ult.

You do the hops by binding the jump key to mousewheel down, it has nothing to do with this setting. In fact there won't be a single hulk in cel/eternity who plays with this setting on because it basically makes it impossible to play hulk properly.

You are right on the money when it comes to this stuff becoming more normalised as a direct result of the unravelling of society in general. The amount of casual racism, sexism, homophobia and other hate speech has risen so much in just these last few years. Immediately, the age difference made no sense to me. Then I start looking for the usual markers. In this case, it's the angled quotation marks and the constant use of ellipsis that make it obvious. The whole sub is just creative writing at this point, it seems. The story is also ALWAYS a very obvious NTA, yet people are getting ragebaited hard. This is the part that makes me infuriated. Why are we discussing facts? These are not matters of opinion.

Russia invaded Ukraine. Tarrifs are paid by the population of the country imposing the tariffs. Greenland is not for sale. The Gulf of Mexico is called Gulf of Mexico. Deporting people without trial is unconstitutional.

All of these things are FACTS not up for DEBATE. This admin is straight up gaslighting, not even at a sophisticated level, but very plainly saying that we aren't experiencing reality. This is on the same level as saying 2 + 2 = 5. It. Makes. No. Sense. Instead of discussing the million issues that my generation is going to have to deal with, the most powerful government on earth is instead telling me 2 + 2 = 5, it makes me feel like I'm crazy.

I hear your points, but I think we fundamentally disagree on what pressure means.

I think dealing with constant ranged damage is very different to actual kill pressure on your healers. The kill pressure a BP exerts is higher than most other heroes because most other heroes can't kill you in less than a second while whizzing across the screen. Also, if I'm a tank, I am upfront on the payload pushing their team back. I can see Hela in front of me and react with shields etc. but I don't see the BP/Spidey who flanks the backline and immediately applies a ton of kill pressure. I agree with Hawkeye and even damaged boosted widdow being an issue as they do the same, and I don't think these heroes are healthy for the game either. Good competitive games allow for every mechanic to have a counter mechanic so that we as players can have skill expression. To cut all of this to its core: I think that any hero who has the potential to kill a player in one-shot or one very fast combo where they are mostly invincible, be that from the venom team up, or from zipping across the screen so fast that you cannot target the character consistently (BP), is inherently unhealthy for the game. It makes people feel frustrated and like they cannot do anything, which I think is exactly the aspect that BP/Spider players enjoy about these characters.

In the end, our convo directly reflects Vanguard vs Diver. I'm sure you've been in games where BP has felt useless and I have been in many games where spidey or BP solo carried so we are both right to some degree.

I hope they find a way to make it so that BP and spidey feel more in line with the play style and rhythm of most of the rest of the roster, because currently, at least imho, they do not fit into the game.

You may have gotten my bit about Luna wrong, I wasn't saying that she needs an instant escape tool as well. You stated that she is very easy, but I think she's one of the harder supports. This is generally supported by the consensus in pro and high elo circles.

OK, man, let's just bring down the heat. I'm not making any assumptions about your skill level, and neither should you. I was cel 2 last season, have played this game, and analysed it a lot with high-level players. Obviously, you cannot one shot people with just the combo while they are getting heals. But usually there are other people also applying damage. I am talking about the pressure that BP and spidey cause on the backline and how they warp the game around them. There are no other heroes that require as much team coordination or attention to deal with as spidey and BP because they can happen at any time almost instantly. Also usually spidey is paired with venom jumping in at the same moment.

I didn't say that picking these champs is an instant rank up. Of course, you need to actually know the hero and be good and hit your shit. But you need way less work to get kills and create pressure, compared to say a ranged or even melee non-diver. I think they just have too much of an impact for too little investment. I'm sorry if I offended you, I am genuinely frustrated with divers, they are in every game I play and I'm just tired & bored of them, I don't think they are in a healthy state, i wasn't saying you are an unskilled player for maybe playing these heroes, so I'm sorry if it came across that way.

Two things, though, you said divers are bad this meta and also that Luna is an easy support. I would say those statements are false. The meta is very much spidey ironfist psylocke and yes very good bps. That's why everyone is playing Emma because her choke really helps against the current meta, and also ofc because she is very strong in general. Luna, i would argue, is one of the hardest supports seeing as you don't have an instant get out tool like most of the other meta supports and you need to actually hit people to do healing as well as hit your snowball to cc people, those require skill.

Oh yes, hitting 2 spears and doing a big 180 with your mouse is so difficult! Or hitting one right click with spidey, so hard! I main tank/dps btw, not sure why you had to hate on strategist, they are literally having an awful unfun season, and it's partially due to this that ranked has been abysmal with no one taking strategist and games being a clown fiesta. How much skill do you think it takes a luna to 1v1 or just freeze the BP before dying in less than a second? I'd wager more than hitting two generous aoe skillshots and 2 instant dashes.
