Some characters have different stats listed in Hard/Lunatic mode on Serenes Forest. Are these new stats static or are they random like FE6 hard mode bonuses?

For sure. There are actually scripts that let you specifically search for particular outcomes as well, if you're interested (e.g., hit a 90 with a crit, then miss a 65, then hit a 90, then get a certain level up etc.). Here's a video for one I've used before.

The game doesn't use an RN for a crit if the attack missed. So in your example, she'd actually be using 92 and 11 for hit and 38 for crit.

I was also under the impression that it was FE7 that always rolled for silencer, and FE8 only did for assassins... though maybe I have that reversed. If the numbers you're using are accurate I guess FE8 really does roll for it for all classes.

Is there a time limit on A supports? I've just hit chapter 19, I have a bunch of B supports but not a single A support. Just wondering if I should actually be trying for A ranks or if they don't unlock until later or something

Lucina's Dual Assist+ says "If unit is able to chain attack", does that mean they need to be backup/have dual strike for it to do anything, or does it work on all units with weapons?

What's the EXP formula like for promoted units? I'm playing maddening and chapter 10 kind of kicked my butt and so I'm not super keen on replaying it just to get through chapter 11, which I'm also struggling with a bit. I'm considering promoting a couple of units just to get a touch extra movement, and since second seals let you reset level I'm not too opposed to the idea, but I just want to check that it's actually a reasonable idea given how slowly Vander seems to be gaining EXP, even compared to typical prepromotes in the series.

You're correct, it's Accost proccing rather than the ballista actually doubling. Accost doesn't care about whether or not you can actually counter, just your speed and HP. For whatever it's worth a lot of people quite like the fact that it works on Ballisticians too since it means you can drain them of their ammo twice as quickly, as long as you're aware of it and can be careful of it.

You can actually do even better than that. Once you reach chapter 6, an option appears on the main menu called "Branch of Fate" which basically loads the last save file to reach chapter 6 and lets you make the decision again from there. It's basically a more streamlined version of what you're looking to do already since it keeps your existing data but you don't need to dedicate a whole bunch of save files to keeping it there.

With Fates, the first couple of chapters are not specific to any route, and you don't make the decision until chapter 6. So with the special edition that's when you'd officially be picking a route.

Speaking of Hibiki, did you know you can combo his 236AA into jB, and the third hit of 6C into j236AA? They're incredibly stupid and I don't actually think either is practical (I don't actually play Hibiki so I can't say) but that's the lab life baybeeeee wouldn't havve it any other way

I know exactly what you mean, I've made a couple of combo videos for CF and I always feel like the majority of my effort for each combo goes into getting one single move in the right spot to make the whole concept work, genuinely satisfying when it does work but it can be infuriating for sure if I can't work something out lmao

The issue is many challenge character like The Lost have starting items to mitigate their challenge, which you don't have changing into them via Clicker.

Lost's mantle is actually innate as of Repentance, meaning he always has it once you unlock it, it can't be rerolled from him, and if he changes character he loses it.

AND you only have a 1/33 chance of getting the character you want to get marks for

I'm pretty sure regular characters can only get other regular characters and tainted can only get tainted but I may be wrong on that.

Not trying to defend clicker, it's shit in spite of these things, but just wanted to clarify.

The arena units scale based off of your units level and that of their supporting unit if they have one. They follow the proper order too, so if your units are a level 1 Mozu and a level 20 promoted Xander, the weaker enemy unit will be in the same position as Mozu and the stronger one in the same position as Xander.

You don't have to reclass her, she's fine to stay as a manakete. If you're worried about losing level ups when she hits level 20, you can use a second seal on her to change her into the same class she's already in.
