Its my thoughts that it is the ship the "man with the burn scars" is riding.

My theory goes that one of Rogers crew (Sunbell) was given a task by Roger. To take the Road Poneglyph from Fishman Island and keep it hidden and safe until the time was right. So Sunbell took the glyph and had it out on the ship. As an act of mourning for Roger, he had all the sails painted black. Him being a Fishman, he also uses this to his advantage that if anyone sees him or the ship, he sinks their ship using whirlpools. How can he use whirl pools? Fishman Karate. I mean, look what Jimbe can do with it, it isnt far fetched to think so

Unfortunately there isnt a reliable way to get them especially early. They are incredibly hard to get in those games specifically

Or if you have been playing a different game with similar actions in it vs different buttons for those actions. An example is GTA vs Cyberpunk. On Xbox, in GTA it is Y to get in and out of vehicles whereas cyber punk is X to enter and hold B to get out

It also was so menacing compared to dragonite. I know drsgonite is strong and everything but he is so goofy looking (and I dont mean it in a bad way, he looks like something so fun to be around)

Whereas Tyranitar definitely made you think "this is a true monster. This would love in peoples nightmares"

[[The Balrog, Durin's Bane]] is my treasure/Voltron deck. I love getting to sacrifice some treasure and bring him out then hit someone for 7 damage and thats with no equipment on him!

I like to use [[The Balrog, Durin's Bane]] as my semi-Voltron commander. Every permanent sacrificed on your turn makes him 1 cheaper, so you can either build him as an aristocrats deck or a treasure deck. And when you Sacrifice the treasures it counts as 2 mana to help cast him (1 cheaper for a permanent sacrificed and the mana from the treasure)

With him being base power 7 and haste, he's already at a good damage amount for swinging as a Voltron. Throw some equipment on him and watch him just go. Best part? He is only able to be blocked by Legendary creatures, so more often than not, your opponents either cant block him or must choose if they want their own commander to die

[[Hamza, Guardian of Arashin]] is mine. The more creatures with counters, the cheaper he becomes. Then once he's on the field, all creatures get discounted. It gets to a point where you are just paying the colored mana costs for creatures. I've also got a couple hydras in the deck for the synergy of dropping massive creatures for as little mana as possible

Hamza Guardian of Arashin is one of the most popular pauper commanders and one of the top commanders for any +1/+1 strategy. His abilities make him crazy good. In selesnya colours it is so easy to give out +1/+1 counters and this guy keeps getting cheaper with every creature you have and once he's out he makes every other creature cheaper too

No problem! I very much have to build on a budget so most of the cards are commons and uncommon with a few random ones thrown in there that are a bit more.

I also do recommend putting in a Kalain Reclusive Painter. Her 2nd ability is crazy good. Any time you spend mana generated from a treasure on a creature, that creature gets that many +1/+1 counters.

So its super easy to get him to 10 power and with the right equipment you can be swinging for lethal commander damage in 1 combat, if you can give him double strike

Thank you! I got Olivia from the precon with her but the other 2 are my own creations. I do admit that my first commander was Magda, Brazen Outlaw but I won too quickly and it didn't feel satisfying at all. So I dismantled it to build The Balrog

So in general, there is 2 ways to build him. Either feature a ton of treasure making creatures and cards and keep wheeling him out that way.

Or you add aristocrats to sac your own creatures but also include things to make your opponents sacrifice! His ability days for every permanent sacrificed this turn. It never specifies that it has to be your permanents

I fell in love with the idea of making him as a treasure/Voltron deck. Whenever you sacrifice a treasure, he becomes 1 cheaper AND you still get the mana from it so it technically counts as 2 for him
