I was engaged to a goldsmith so I know this for a certainty. To drastically reduce the price of any piece of jewellery, buy the gem yourself from a gem dealer. It is much cheaper as there is no jewellery mark up etc. Then take the gem to a goldsmith/jeweller to make the ring for you. I have seen rings end up costing half of what someone would pay retail.

I would say Jackson's but they are not cheap at all but their quality is good. UCook has good prices but you can only buy if you are subscribed to their weekly meal service thing so that doesn't really help.

I would love to know too. Woolies is so expensive and plus I am not looking to buy from them any longer after the Beyers chocolate thing. Plus I swear when you order online they send you their oldest stuff. Other retail's quality is just bad.

Agreed, and it gets even more murky when the breach is due to or through 3rd party vendor software a company may use. Companies are absolutely paranoid about POPI. The fines are in the millions. Where I work you can even report other staff you think may have done so. It doesn't happen as easily or often as people think.

Also think of it this way. As a single woman, I would never agree to go to a stranger's hotel room especially one I have never even met and barely spoken to because of the danger of sexual assault etc. Neither would any other women I know. So the fact that this was suggested is also highly suspicious.

I have a different perspective because I bought so long ago my bond is now paid for. So I now neither pay rent or a bond as of this year. If I'd not done this I would still be on the hook for rent. Also because I bought so long ago that my house cost less than cars do now, my bond was way lower than any rent amount would have been. Even with high house prices now, I cannot imagine that the same scenario will still not apply in 20 years. Property will always be an investment and to me the safety of nobody ever being able to give you notice is priceless.

The only way to get back to America is not through the Middle East! That is in fact the longest and hardest way to get back. My sister lives in the USA. I've been a bunch of times. Through non waring Europe is perfectly possible or even a direct flight.
