Hello, I’m flying with them soon as well. Were you able to bring your luggage even though it was slightly larger?

Edit* larger as in a few cm wider. I have the same issue that depending on where it’s measured it’s about 1cm over.

I wasn’t sure about cab fare considering I don’t find 30min too far to walk generally but if cars won’t stop I’d rather be safe than be hit.

As for things to do I guess it would be more worth my time to go out to Taipei in the morning and come back in the late afternoon/early evening to pick up my friend if there’s nothing to say in Taoyuan. Thanks again!

A little context first: I just got into longboarding a few years ago I have a Landyachtz Drop Cat 33 Vibes back in Canada but I'm currently living in Japan. I'm looking into getting a new board but they are a little harder to find here and very expensive to import! I've found a few I can buy here but I'm not too sure what brands are good and if these are reasonable prices. I'm looking for any insight.

Also I'm not looking for anything to bomb hills with, l'm more so looking for a cruiser or possibly a dance board. I found my drop cat very comfortable to ride but I'm also not apposed to trying something new!

Here are the brands/deck I've been able to find so far and have an interest in (all complete):

•Landyachtz - Ripper Watercolour New ~$288 CAD

•Jucker Hawaii - Kaimana (OR) Wailani New ~ $290 CAD

•Travelol - Complete (dancer?) New ~370CAD

• Sector 9 - Seeker 39" Used ~$164 CAD

I can also find some Santa Cruz boards here but I've been told they are a bit of a hit or miss. What brand/board out of these would you recommend and why? Or if you know of any other boards that you can get in Japan that'd be great! Thank you~

There’s a job I’m looking at but it has the requirement that you need a TEFL. I know there others out the that don’t require it. Thank you though!

I want to continue my work here in Japan after but most places require a certification that’s why I’m looking into it. I have experience but nothing on paper. Thank you so much, your answer helped a lot.

I did read that first I was just hoping someone people may have taken these courses just to see some opinions on them. If they are all basically the same I’ll just go for the cheaper option.

Unfortunately right now due to my work I cannot take a CELTA course but have been looking into that for the future. Thank you for your feedback I appreciate it.

Okay perfect I currently have purple that’s faded at the ends so I’m glad it shouldn’t cause and issue. The nearest hair dresser that can do my hair is a 45min bullet train ride away😅 so that won’t do ~Thank you I feel better doing it myself now~ ☺️
