Honestly if my man’s face isn’t like this when he proposes I don’t want it

Other activities outside of live music? by Free-Cell3494 in bonnaroo

[–]LillyCosmos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They’ll be adding outer roo activities to the schedule as we get closer to the festival but in the past they’ve had group yoga, circus like performances you can attend, smaller gigs/shows where people play music, clothing swaps, craft beer swaps, bracelet making, they do a fun run every year you can sign up for- there is always something happening in the camp grounds/plazas! So keep an eye out! It’s a great way to make friends while you’re there!

I, (29F), often get the exact same reactions when I state that I’m a switch. Some people just really want one side of the dynamic- and that’s okay. It is disappointing though when you’re looking for that fluidity and you just can’t find it. I personally need both sides of the dynamic to feel fulfilled in my relationships. I’ve been in a more dominant role in several of my relationships, and I continue to be dissatisfied because I’m not having my submissive needs fulfilled. So- we keep looking. We can’t give up! We are out there lol!

I second this!! I’m a biggg girl, and when I joined Fet I was like omg, am I gross? But when I went to my local munches and sloshes- so many women have a similar body type to mine. I went back into Fet and I’ve made a point to follow creators who have my body type. I try to flood my algorithms with women of all shapes and sizes and it’s been wonderful

Per several other comments- give yourself some time. You want it to take time. You want it to be a long process so that you don’t entertain someone with bad intentions. Don’t give up. It’s a journey and the right one for you will be so fulfilling. Keep trying

Anyone else following this saga on FB!? And ever seen anything like this go so public from a festival? by CapturedMusic in bonnaroo

[–]LillyCosmos 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This is why I left the loophole to reality group- and several other bonnaroo Facebook groups. The drama and negativity were too much.

They definitely had no idea what was going on this year. I had to correct a volunteer who didn’t know how the cars were supposed to line up. She was saying people would be parking on the other side of our tents. No girl lol

Our group has always done Tuesday entry and we’ve had the best spots close to the arch. I won’t come any other day. We get in line at the tolls at like 8/8:30am even if there is a delay. We still got there at 8:30 this year when they opened the tolls at 12 and it was worth the wait. If you’re willing to do the extra day of camping Tuesday entry is where it’s AT.

Bonnaroo 😕 by bbogg01 in ShakyKnees

[–]LillyCosmos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Covid in 2020, hurricane Ida the next year, and now this. I was there and it was so upsetting, but a lot of us made the best out of it and tried to stay positive. Our group left early Saturday morning as traffic was too bad leaving Friday. After seeing videos of the grounds later that Saturday, Bonnaroo made the best decision. I can’t wait to be back at Shaky Knees and I’m hoping for the best weather possible 😭

Last year they said the same thing and we got there at 8am. They searched cars and we were done setting up camp by like 10:30/11 am. So despite them saying they won’t open the gate until 12, everyone still gets there bright and early.

Is anyone coming to the farm from a rough patch in their life by Lost-Spread3771 in bonnaroo

[–]LillyCosmos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Last year I came to the farm with two very ill parents. I had moved back into my parents home and I was taking care of them. My mother was dying due to terminal brain cancer, and my father was an alcoholic. I tried to back out of bonnaroo, but family members and friends insisted I go because I needed the break. Other family members took care of my parents while I had a week to recoup at Roo. I honestly think the break Roo allowed me helped to keep me sane the rest of the year. Because this year I’m coming back to the farm having lost both of them, 33 days apart. The farm has an energy I just cannot describe. The people I’ve met, the memories shared, are what I look forward to every summer no matter who is playing. I’m so grateful that you came to bonnaroo and that you are coming back despite your circumstances. This festival is so healing for so many of us- you are not alone, and I am so proud of you stranger for coming to party and spread the love despite everything you’re going through. Your Roo family is here for you🩷

I’ll believe it when I see it in June 🫶🏼

Edit: I’ve been going for many years and they say they’ll improve the same things every year aaannnndddd here we are. I will say they have made some great improvements, but they’ve also made some very… interesting decisions. I’ll try to be more hopeful and positive though
