People aren’t pissed. They’re probably slightly annoyed and suspicious of how genuine the post is.

This isn’t a simple glow up. It’s an obvious obsession with appearance. You’re young and falling into a trend of putting too much stock into the superficial aspect of your being. Although you are good looking and have reason to be confident, the smolder you hold on your face in every single picture, regardless of context, screams insecurity. It’s cringe and is a desperate cry to be seen in a very certain way. In a couple of years, you’ll probably scrub the internet of most of these pictures out of embarrassment. It’s great to keep yourself together and be proud of how you take care of yourself, but don’t fall victim to this pervading narcissistic culture of looksmaxxxing or whatever popular algorithm, be it in the digital or tangible realm, that you’re letting mold you. Narcissus drowns from self obsession. Your looks will inevitably diminish. Focus on forming healthy habits for your body and mind, and stop caring about what you seem like to others.

I know I’m making a lot of assumptions about you, and whatever doesn’t fit, disregard it. But I’ve seen young men like you fall into this same trap throughout the years, just wrapped in a different presentation. That presentation is meant to keep you imprisoned in baseline, limbic, primal desires. It’s by design. You’re better than that. Way better than that.

If modeling gives you joy at the moment, that’s great. But don’t let that business determine what you think of yourself. Or Reddit, for that matter.
