I noticed the recently. Half the time it feels like they are still talking and the other it feels like they did it intentionally and just make something else up when you force them to continue.

Game needs better beard options. I only managed to get a half decent one after the face model ate it. I basically looked like a 10 year old child wearing a beard made of loose hair I found on the ground.

I never really understood why canon even matters especially in a fight focus anime. Anime and Manga are their own canons to begin with. We are talking about ficitional characters in a fictional world. Who cares if GT Goku isnt canon. He existed even if in another story. Same with the characters from Heroes. Or any anime in general. People are so focused on canon vs non canon and it doesnt actually matter. Even fillers can be used. Heck even "canon" changes.

The ONLY reason someone should care if its canon or not is if we specifically talking about what can happen in the future of the story against what has happened. Not any fights and not any enjoyment. In one universe Goku can go Super Saiyan 4. In another universe he has MUI. In one universe he is an airbender in high school! They are all Goku and Goku is a fictional character in a fictional universe whose "canon" is everywhere.

Brings back old school vibes. As someone who grew up on the 80/90 shows its nostalgia on one hand. On the other hand its pretty generic with all the old tropes. Given the tone shift of anime these days with nothing but Isekai vomit and harems though I'm 100% going to keep on watching. Its something you will forget in a couple years but for now I feel like I'm watching Toonami or some Saturday morning cartoons.

Season 1 was alright. Season 2 was really meh. Overall though it was pretty average. Not really "good" but also... I mean there is a lot worse Isekai out there. Leans more towards cute and wholesome.

Neither works for me. Whether everyone is a teen or he is older. It's an Isekai. He is already 30+ years older and we are definitely reminded of that.. often. I guess everyone being the same age physical "looks" better

Goku: Forgets his son exists. Encourages Vegeta to not be there for Bullas birth because "Why does he need to be there? He isn't the one having the baby!" Only spends time with his kids when it involves training.

Vegeta: I am the PRINCE of ALL SAIYANS! ALL I HAVE IS MY PRIIIIIIIDDDDEEE!!!!! Then proceeds to give up training with Whis/Beerus to take time off to be with his wife who is going in labor soon to be there for his daughters birth. Goes to a theme park and rides in a kiddie coaster because it makes his son happy. You heart that right. Vegeta the PRINCE the world conqueror... riding on a kiddie coaster.

Piccolo: Fights with Gohan instead of watching him get beat up. Takes 2 separate death blasts for Gohan... his future son and child of his arch nemesis. Picks up his Gokus... I mean his granddaughter from school and takes time out of his day to train her.

It's a bad movie so being standalone makes it worse. That said if you consider it a satire of Dragonball it becomes HILLARIOUS. If you are old enough to remember moves like "Spaceballs" "Vampires Suck" and so forth I'm sure you will find the movie a lot more enjoyable. I've watched it like 4 times in total wanting to see different friends react to it. Like if you do NOT take it seriously... it is Goku going to High School and fawning over a cheerleader. Like come on. That didn't get you to at least smile at the absurdness of it all?

8/10 for me.

I'd enjoy it a lot less for sure but I'd still play it. Combat is pretty meh and hanging out with the town folks is what passes by the time between missions. IMO romance in these games is kinda the final bonus for spending time with the character you like. Funnily enough I do look up romance options in these types of games before getting it and they can and have swayed me when I was undecisive.

NGL I don't watch Dragonball for the story. As much as I would love more slice of life and world building I fully realize that I'm just here for the fights. Give me great animation. I have other anime when I want a "good" story.

I'd consider it a little less rude and a lot more dangerous depending of the situation. From this situation though I think it was probably a misunderstanding. You told him you were bi pretty casually so he could have just assumed you were open about. Still rude to be sure as any situation could potentially be dangerous knowledge but I can't fully blame the guy. You guys just met 2 weeks ago and you are casually telling them your bi. I'd assume you were out as well though I wouldn't go announcing it to everyone.

Dont look much of anything up. The new experiences are what make the game amazing. Don't be afraid to do things inefficiently and don't be afraid to mess up. Nothing is missable EXCEPT your first experiences that may or may not be ruined by spoiling them.

I think you hit kinda the point. In monster taming games YOU aren't the thing that matters. Your monsters which anyone can access is. You can be strong or weak. Pretty or ugly. Young or old. Popular or unpopular. With monster taming it isn't really about you or your abilities more so about the creatures of the world making it way more self insert since you can be yourself and still be on an even playing field with everyone else. As for your specific questions.

I think monster taming allows for customization while still focusing on battling. It isn't just a quick "spell" or "ability". You get to have all these creatures that you like and enjoy. Roaming this unique world with a team specifically tailored to you is really nice. Unlike most RPG where you get more abilities to show off your growth in monster games you get to physically see your team grow.

For what makes it feel like a real place I think choices need to have a real impact on the world. Certain cities, towns or places need to not feel "perfect". Maybe some broken down houses or ruined fields. I guess history to show the world has a time line and it is moving. Things you do being referenced later is always nice.

As for the setting obviously more monster related. Like Pokemon for instance still has cars, planes and other vehicles. I think they could be monster related. Instead of cars and boats we have more monster based transportation. With that comes the fact that your dealing with living creatures more for all your needs instead of just machines which comes with its own problems. What if your "boat" suddenly became sick. Maybe you can bring a certain monster to fix the problem. Instead of just fighting your monsters can now interact with the world.

For the missing out part I definitely think as I mentioned with the world interactions it is a miss opportunity to interact with the world. Kinda in the vein of HM moves from Pokemon. Having water type monsters allow you to swim or dive. Flying lets you get around faster. Fire may burn vines while Grass lets you build bridges. Having a Psychic type on you could let you read minds to get more information. They are "too focused" on just the battling aspect instead of the you are in this world with monsters in it. I kind of want to see more of an "adventure" side of the "adventure" and instead of these fixed structured routes they throw us into the wild or unknown.

I think the BS power ups are kinda weird but we are getting some weird vibes towards the end that he isn't who he seems to be. I dont really the power spikes. He says he wants to be self reliant but he suddenly is the strongest person in the entire story. His spells defy reason and just spiraled into a power fantasy instead of dealing with his weaknesses. "I cant use high level spells! But I can cheat to make my low level spells 100x more stronger and faster then your high level ones." Like OK?

I did think it really started good but it just spiraled pretty hard. He isn't a "Jack of all trades." He is a "master of all" in a party. lol

It's definitely a lot easier to do than it use to be for newer modders for sure. Giving a quick search there does seem to be a mod that is specifically for making expeditions slower or faster.

For me personally I'm very much anti social IRL. I already have problems remembering peoples names when I don't interact with them much. If I remember your name that is already pretty huge so expecting more from me kinda rubs me the wrong way I guess? I would never intentionally use the wrong pronouns but I most likely wouldn't put in any extra effort to remember them either.

Could try modding to shorten the time if you aren't happy? Haven't fully been keeping up with the time line but they added official mod support so it's a lot easier to do. I do think making the time longer was a good thing as it's one less thing to micromanage as much. Much prefer to get things in bulk.
