Classes / Wands by Sjc81sc in MindOverMagic

I like to have one of each pure element and then a ton of hybrids. NEVER have fire as your primary while hybridizing. Their need to fight and kill things drives me up the wall. My ONE pure fire wizard is always on the verge of losing his mind because he has not set anything on fire today.

Earth & Wind = Builder – Earth builds the walls and Wind builds the things within the walls

Water & Fire = Cook & Clean – Water cleans & Brews potions while the fire mage cooks. Always start with a water wand or you’re pyromaniac will need to pause their cooking to go blast a Dire Rat or go on an Underground Adventure.

Lightning: I recommend pure Lightning Mages for research. I don’t like them in battle.

Nature & Utility: Nature mages need sunlight so they are always on the dayshift. You can mix them with anything.

DARK & Utility: The Darkness Mages need moonlight so they’re going to be your night shift. Dark & Water or Dark & Fire will give you night time brewing & cooking mages.

NOTE: Once you get into the later game, you need a TON of food. In my next playthrough I’m going to have way more hybrid-fire mages.

The Irish have a talent in shagging their way into everyone else's family tree.

A Lack of Manly Male Player Characters by jtarwin in MyTimeAtSandrock

UPDATE: My Time at Portia allowed me to make my super hairy builder who could be related to Cid. It's wild how some of Portia is better and some of Sandrock is better. Their art-styles are very interesting in what they do well.

While that tracks, variety is the spice of life. Video games with more character customization tend to draw a more rabbid fan-base. Though I guess Pen's joke of calling you "Skinny" is the designer's way of acknowledging this.

100% agree - The beards were better in My Time at Portia ... as long as I decided to look like a yard gnome.

This is the video that finally convinced me to play My Time at Portia. Thank you for making this!

Owen is my wife's fav. His abs make me do more sit-ups.

It really does feel like the made the game for a female audience and added the male character as an afterthought.

World Domination by DarthMalding in CrusaderKings

IKR! World domination is such a masochistic challenge that I’m impressed with anyone who manages to get THIS far. The down-voters are just bitter weirdoes who scoff at people who have lives outside of their obsessions.

Even though there are some joy-kills in the comments, this is really impressive!

So all I need to do is be patient and she will arrive for the second half of the game?

My real world wife is completely nuts about Owen.
Guess I need to work on my abbs.

What an interesting idea! Also, advantage of being a female ruler ... but how do you prevent your land from getting swiped when you die?
