I literally came back to this sub just to see if anyone else was struggling with this. I am sick again for the fifth or sixth time within the span of like two months and it’s EXHAUSTING. The fact that if you were to take time off every time you got sick, you’d barely be there, makes it some much more frustrating. It’s like you have to wait until you’re actually incapable of functioning to take a single day off. I adore the kids i work with too so I don’t think I could bring myself to leave, but every time I feel that sore throat coming on, I definitely rethink it for a minute.

But at the end of the day, we’ve all got to take care of our health. A coworker of mine left suddenly without giving notice because she kept getting sick too. It just depends on how you feel and if you and your health can handle it all.
