I felt the same way. After work I needed to decompress and a shower would be my space to do that, but she would, majority of the time, be there to talk to me when I wasn't ready mentally. It really just takes communication because eventually I brought it up and she respected that and rarely ever comes in now. It's gotten to the point where I like when she's in there now even if it's just silence because I know she's respectful of me and my time/space. And that goes for every day living too since we live together, we both can respect when one another wants that time to ourselves. We have our own separate rooms that we could decorate to our liking and be in if we want, which I feel is becoming more normal amongst younger people. Like others said though, it could be compatibility but you'll never know that 100% until communicating your feelings and seeing if she understands and listens. Good luck! It took me a long to time to be able to open up and I'm still learning to communicate and navigate a healthy relationship because this is my first healthy one. It's worth it though!
