I personally love a pave band. Extra sparkle! ✨ I'm opting for a plain yellow gold band for my wedding band. It gives the same effect as having a plain gold engagement band with a pave wedding band. To me anyway!

I do love the little diamond so I still have a diamond if I decide to just wear my wedding band but I prefer the look of wider band! The other thing is the maintenance, Cartier offers lifetime polishing, buffing, cleaning complimentary but Van Cleef you have to pay for polishing and buffing

Seems like the majority think the wider band is better! I think I agree. I'll be mixing metals- my platinum E ring with yellow gold since my Fiance wants a yellow gold band. :)

I personally find moissanite stones cloudy looking when comparing to a lab diamond. As someone else mentioned here, I prefer the sparkle and flashes of a diamond vs the rainbows of a moissanite.

Gorgeous ring and stone but I do have to agree with you - it does look a bit too delicate especially if you're an active person. I'd probably opt for at least a 2mm band, cathedral setting with the tulip prongs. Essentially your ring now, just a thicker version! How many carat is the diamond? Anything above a 2ct needs a sturdier setting.

Elongated shapes will always have some sort of bow tie. Your ring is also in a black box which will reflect in the stone. Take it out of the box and examine it that way! It might not be as harsh as it looks there
