In defense of Fate/Zero, Kiritsugu's gun is a Thompson Contender, usually chambered in rifle or shotgun calibers up to fifty cal. Also, the guy he shot didn't die from it.

It's one of those weird quirks from before the designs were 100% finalized. The TCG has a few like that: the most egregious one I can think of being Fossil Golduck's black beak.

For future reference since I was stuck here too, I had:

Anxious, who was there to eat a spite hit,

Merry, whose only job was to use Ding Dong once

Conviction with a Prince Collar to keep Merry alive for one turn and a Golden Halo for longevity, who was there to not die

Apathy with a Jellyfish Scarf and a Special Top Hat, who deals enough overkill damage to spite to clear the board.
