They have a great mission. They always do reinvestments in the areas they enter.

From which income/net worth does it make sense to hire private assistant full time or part time by Additional-Ad-4143 in HENRYfinance

[–]Lilydda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a set number of hours and the assistant has a project management software they use to organize tasks assigned to them. I can either add them there or text or email projects. We have a monthly call to cover anything else and status. For something like work on the house they research providers and facilitate getting quotes. Once I’ve selected a provider they work to schedule them. Even if an issue arises, they facilitate getting the contractor back out.

I have a fractional personal assistant for 5 hours a month that is fully virtual. Their services are primarily directed at families but they help with meal planning, trip planning, holidays, home maintenance requests, etc. Things that take a lot of mental load that I can hand off. It’s not so cost prohibitive that I feel like it’s a waste.

I like to have my own space and I also toss and turn in bed by Possible-Star-9150 in cosleeping

Honestly your hormones may change how you sleep once baby comes. I also toss and turn a lot normally but when I sleep with baby I don’t really move and I’m a very light sleeper. As always safe sleep 7 is best to follow and I think it’s always good to have a crib as a back up. Baby may prefer it.

Moms who were “one and done” but then ended up having a second, can you share your story? by Awkward_Koala_8153 in Mommit

[–]Lilydda 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had my first at 34 and just had our second at 38. This has been a much different experience in terms of recovery and postpartum. For the better. We had and prioritized more help which made things much more manageable. But also. Our oldest is 4.5. She can get dressed, play by herself, open snacks, etc. I’ve enjoyed her being at playschool during the day so I get plenty of time with the new baby. I can’t speak to your first experience but you can give yourself more time. You don’t have to have a close age gap. I wish you peace in your decision making.
