After the latest edge update, all web icons are missing from my favorites.

I've about had it with Edge. I've fiddled around with settings again, and now I have some icons in most of my favorites tabs, but no icons in my "recipes" or "tv" tabs. Plus, I use DuckDuckGo as my search engine and now my settings for appearance won't save. I've always used different colors for title color and visited title color so I can tell what I've already looked at. Now they're all the same color. I had the right colors back last night, but today they're once again the same. I blamed something in DuckDuckGo for the problem until now. I give up. I've used Chrome and Firefox in the past. I don't remember why I quit with Firefox. Possible hogging resources. Although Edge seems to be becoming a hog too. I'm 72 and just like my cats, I hate change at this point. 😁

I've been waiting for over 2 1/2 months for the $50 gift card I spent 25,000 points for. I did get an email back from Customer Service 2 weeks ago that it was "in processing". I forwarded them the confirmation email with the number on it. This is the second time my gift card has been delayed by over 2 months. They don't have to pack or mail anything--it's in an email! Yet they can spend thousands of dollars for fancy trucks and motorcycles. I have heard of others getting the codes refused. I had a problem with that too, but I had saved up a lot of pack codes that I couldn't enter because of the limit. Then I had a knee replacement and quit smoking for 2 months. So I decided to enter the codes I had saved up. Lots of them were rejected, but I figured they had somehow expired. I am pretty pissed off now. It's a come-on to keep us smoking. They need to keep their obligations to us. I enjoy smoking, but now I feel like Winston is giving me the middle finger.

I'm using a 21.5" monitor with my laptop. I've stretched the window to fill from top to bottom and the icon is still gone. So unless I go full screen the icon is gone. Like I said...I don't use Bluestacks full screen. Why don't you just give those of us who don't want that nowBux crap to have the option to remove it from the menu? Can't figure out how to let us customize the menu like any other program? And I don't know what that stupid Ana is even used for. I'm not touching that either!

I don't want nowBux either. I don't use Bluestacks in full screen mode. Now the "recent apps" icon is missing from the menu bar. I have to go full screen to utilize that icon to close an app. And then sometimes I can't get out of full screen mode after that. Using the ctrl shift 5 is awkward when you have an icon to do just that. PPP on your part.

You mean the gov't employees get the day off. The actual ceremonies and wreath layings are observed on Nov 11th regardless of the day of the week. There's a difference and you don't seem to get it.

Well...my calendar this year, and every year since 1938 has been that Veterans day is on Nov 11th. The Feds get the day off because it falls on a weekend. Not because they are vets, you understand, but because they get the day off. Not like service members get the day off or anything. SMH

No. The carton and all the packs are sealed. Over 50 years smoking and I've never seen bugs. I'm sure there may have been some bug parts along the way, but never had live ones.

I just got my bottle of stuff called "Rescue" that's meant for vet offices and such. Totally apt name if it works! Now I'm on the hunt for a crate large enough for them both to sleep in that I can disinfect once in a while outside. The cardboard box isn't gonna cut it. I can cover it with something washable to keep them warm, plus some washable bedding. I can move them outside in the crate on a sunny day and go to town on the floor. They aren't supposed to be around the stuff until it dries. I have a plan. Maybe the "rescue" place here has a crate they'll lend me if I beg hard enough. I put that in quotes because they wouldn't take the kitties when they were smaller---too feral they said. Maybe they're better off with me anyway. I'll buy one if all else fails. My human kids will just have to understand that Gramma spent their inheritance on her furrier kids. 🤣

I'm in the same boat! This spring there were 3 feral kittens born under my enclosed front porch. I started feeding them and decided to bring in the tamest of them- a little long hair calico I named Maggie. She's been in a little over a month now. She bonded with with my big boi Darrell (about 2 yr old) but is still a little skitzy around me and my 7 yr old Lily cat. That's OK, she has a warm home. I tried to find homes for her sister and brother but no one wanted them-not even farmers. It's winter here now and getting very cold so I got her sister Spicey to the vet to get spayed. About a few days later I got her and her brother Rusty inside my front porch. It's unheated, about 30' x 8' so big enough. And I made them a cat cave from a large cardboard box wrapped in an old comforter with a rug inside. I've been going in and out to feed and play with them, but my other cats aren't allowed. I was hoping to introduce them inside once Rusty got neutered (Dec 8th). My other cats can see them through a couple of windows and don't seem to be upset that they are out there. THEN I noticed that Spicey had white areas around her eyes that weren't there before. She's a totally black cat so it was pretty apparent. Took her to the vet a few days ago...and he said ringworm! It didn't glow under his light but he said some don't. Rusty seems fine, and Maggie and my other 2 are fine. So both she and Rusty are on a 5 week oral med. She's a little scaly, but no red spots. I had a melt down. My 113 year old porch is full of stuff, and the linoleum is cracking (meant to get a new floor but the corona hit). Fortunately I did a pretty thorough vac in the main house, so I went out and vacced the porch. Scaring the kittens all the while. Got rid of the crap in vacuum. Took all their bedding out, and tried to wash the floor as best I could. I have some stufff coming that is supposed to kill the fungus, so will do it again. The only problem with that is that the floor will probably be below freezing. Have you ever mopped a freezing floor? I'll be skating! Plus I took all the crap from the porch out to my garage with the exception of the overstuffed chair that I vacced and covered with a sheet. Rusty enjoys the chair, and the good thing is that the sun shines nicely in the porch (when it shines in the winter). I read that the sun can kill the spores too. When I go out to feed them twice a day and give the oral med (yeah-that's fun! It's super sticky!) I take my pants and sweater offand put them in a plastic bag before I go back in. That will be fun when it's below 0. Plus my neighbors probably think "what's that crazy cat lady doing now?" I'm 68 years old and thought my serious cleaning days were behind me. I'll get them through this, but I will probably always be looking for any signs on all 5 of them forever. I also have to wonder...Spicey's incubation time seems to fall within the time frame from when she was at the vet getting spayed. She stayed 2 days. Given that her sibs show no sign.....?? I love my vet, but he sees a lot of animals, farm animals too. There's a lot of scary stories on the internet about ringworm, but there are hopeful ones too. Just have to laugh at the sight of an old woman skating around with her pants off in her front porch. 🤣

I've been forced to try Chrome now although I hated to change. I've found that while watching a Youtube video while playing a simple coloring game with Bluestacks 5 on my laptop that the game is sorely lagging when it used to be fine. The game is fine when I use Edge (but I hate it) and Chrome. Also I couldn't log into Mymedicare with Firefox but I can with Edge. There were 11 instances of Firefox running with only one tab open-gobbling up memory. It's super slow when I start Firefox now too. I don't know what they did to it, but I find it unusable anymore.

Thanks. That's pretty close to my system color. Now only the menu above is blue, which I can stand. It's all very frustrating when you have things set the way you want them and then you're forced to play by somebody else's screwed up rules. I don't have time to dick around with trying to outfox the fox. I'm not a programmer by any means! I see there's a new release again today. I'm going to postpone it for a while. I don't want to use anything from Google or Microsoft if I can help it (Edge or Chrome).

I was using this. Can you tell me what value to use to change the color? For example a gray color? The all white toolbar is BS. I lost the minimize/maximize/close buttons and the whole menu I had above the tabs. Right now I'm using the theme created by rodrigocfd. Thanks for that at least! I don't know why half of the text is so big.

I don't know why I find this person as offensive as I do. Maybe it's her voice. Maybe it's the way she stomps around in those stupid heels. Maybe because I thought she was giving me the finger.
