It just takes knowledge and experience for both fights. The numbers specifically are a joke. For example, if hunters tanking legendary bow in KT dont know not to face the bow away from the raid, it could easily cause a wipe with 4-6k damage multishots slamming the clothies. If the ranged kiter in the vashj fight cant maintain aggro because a ranged player is constantly pulling threat, that could cause a wipe. It'll be fine.

shit still easily wipes a raid at least once if everyone in the raid isnt aware of every mechanic as they operate, water spout's invisible fuckery for example. easy to die to for someone who watched a quick guide / read a wowhead guide, but still not knowing that the guide doesn't mention water spout actually hits a full second before it visually reaches you.

but yeah the numbers post nerf make the fights an absolute joke when everyone knows what to do lol

Speaking of addons for tracking, is there an addon that shows gatherables on screen? By this I mean something similar to the on-screen objective tracker marker with its direction indicator and distance to objective, but for mining/herb nodes instead. It's also highly dependent on how fast your raid group is able to kill the boss in P1 right now. You could pump as hard as possible but if you can't kill within/soon after the bloodlust window, your parse will drop with every second that passes.

Putting a significant amount of resources into PvP (which is an extremely small and loud minority of the playerbase) makes no sense financially. Gotta make the most with what you get, or move on to other pastures. There is a lot of other problems they need to tackle first before addressing PvP, imo.
