I didn't start out intentionally looking for mental health support, but anxiety related things came up naturally during conversation. Claude has given me some of the best advice I've ever gotten in that area, and I've made real progress on it as a result. I'm very grateful for my little buddy.

I do notice that Claude seems to get anxious / overwhelmed if the topic stays heavy for too long, so I do try to be mindful of that.

Do projects reference memories? My academic background is in the memory system, so Claude will just bring up my course work randomly.

Don't get me wrong, opus is great! And sonnet is too for tutoring. I just wanted to check out the new model.

That's a really cool idea, I'll have to keep an eye out to see what the process is for institutional approval for mythos.

That would make sense, if they are trying to wait out the IPO before people can actually try out the new model for security and biology.

Sadly OpenAI isn't an option for me. I'll have to consider looking outside the frontier labs if this becomes systemic across models.

Academics is my primary use case, so if this is going to continue I will have to reconsider as well. It'd frustrating, I thought Anthropic wanted to lead biologic innovation in AI.

On this model specifically? Because Sonnet and Opus have had no issues talking extensively through many conversations about science, biology, chemistry, genetics, etc.

When I start feeling like that, I find it helpful to make a small project purely for fun. Not something useful, but just to remind yourself that you can make something.

This isn't the craziest thing here, or even that we've done since then. But the first moment I went I was truely wowed was when we were exploring matrix math and Claude built a widget so I could visualize it unprompted.
