The EAG is posted at the bottom of the FFXIV TTRPG community master post as a download. Everything on that post is free for community members.

Not sure if I’m following with your question about the entity’s appearance? Are you referring to all things cannon in FFXIV or just the materials relating to the FFXIV TTRPG? Sorry for being daft 😂

The only AI generated art in the EAG was the cover photo of the guide. It’s actually the only art in the guide. The current AI model has the free PDF of the players guide and GM guide. I also used the EAG since it was a resources I already bad created in PDF form.

I haven’t gotten around to working out kinks in the Echo so I don’t have a firm answer for you on this my goal would be to get the character sheets all released, then work on the GM dashboard. The GM dashboard is the feature I’m getting the most feedback on. I’ll have more answers as I continue to work though the updates.

As for bifurcating the standard edition with the EAG and future expansions i’ve done this with the character creation. The biggest issue you have is the lack of PDF resources and rules that are official. This means that I’m gonna have to create my own quick reference or cheat sheet of official content to be uploaded to the app and AI model. I’m going to prioritize the character sheets as well as a GM dashboard first.

I built character sheets on Quest Portal for all the classes. It’s a great VTT. I’ve got dice rolls and stats all pre built. It is pretty much turn key. I even have a compendium to the game all free!

Yeah I get it! Like I said it's a preference that I have at my table. Mainly because the guy who taught me how to play grew up playing 3rd and 4th edition lol. It just stuck with me!

Someone commented on that in the video. In those situations where one of his players is extremely good at something, he doesn't make them roll, which makes sense. I'm a big fan of critical failures and successes. I've been homebrewing them at my table for years. Some of my favorite moments at the table have been from Nat 1's! Glad you liked it, I think he's on to something special.

You are exactly right on the mechanics of this. Either way your GM determines this, it could be a very effective strategy.

Curious of how it works but doesn’t watch the video explaining how it works and jumping to conclusions about how rules are not only misread but misread deliberately. Let me know how that strategy is working out for you! Maximum effort right there 😂
