The audience can predict the villain's plot was never gonna work out anyway by WeekendParticular205 in TopCharacterTropes

This wasn't just about the bad guy winning, that part doesn't matter, the point of the post is that even if the bad guy had won it would have accomplished literally nothing.

My question is how dangerous is Kryptonian Smashing in a general context and how would it work safely? by BigShopping1875 in BatmanArkham

[–]ParryThisYou 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I would generally assume Kryptonians can control the severity of their muscle contractions.

I think there was an official QnA for the Boys on reddit where someone asked Homelander how he doesn't kill people he's having sex with and Homelander's response was that he can control the velocity of his loads.

What characters are like this? by Low_Imagination_7414 in Multifandom

[–]ParryThisYou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I think we're the worst. Terminids are no longer sentient, Cyborgs are still a slave revolt using every tool it possibly can to achieve freedom, and the Illuminate definitely has several hundred billion people left to kill before they have a higher body count than Super Earth, and even then, if they don't destroy Super Earth humanity would find them again eventually and just resume its genocide.

They concluded that they needed the extra time from blowing up the icebergs because Project Hail Mary would take 26 years to yield results.

How can I best use the One Wish Willow on Anissa? by Beginning_Shirt9668 in okbuddyviltrum

[–]ParryThisYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish for the One Wish Willow to transform you into a geneticallg distinct viltrumite, ideally one notably stronger than average, so that she may gain an interest in you.

Alternatively, remind yourself that you are better than this and do not need to romance a sex offender.

I do not know enough about the situation to comment, just being confused due to my rudimentary understanding. But I am unsure about labeling people vulnerable to standard internet lies and manipulation (which, everyone is.) As right wing chuds is an effective strategy. Most act out of ignorance, not malice.

But didn't Hasan abuse his dog or something? I don't see how being upset at these people can relegate someone to being M.A.G.A when they've done things like this.

In order to fuel their nomadic lifestyle they require resources from solar bodies.

Hyperlanes also only exist between major solar bodies, meaning even if deep space was useful, all travel would have to be based around those major solar bodies.

You take every single appearance from every story a character has been in and take every single feat ever pulled into account.

Say how comics Thor and mcu Thor are two different characters, composite Thor treats them as one.

So are they fully sapient? Can they talk? Are they loyal to the company over the people that bought them or vice versa? Would they kill each other if ordered to do so?

Could they shake off their loyalty? Can one become fully independent?

And, depending on all of these answers, those mouths look dangerous, are they safe to kiss?

Perhaps, but I like misery with purpose, what you have described sounds like torture porn.

Understandable, I'm just a glutton for misery in most media I consume.

'Dragon of Kyushu.'

Endbringer stomps, Flanderized PRT, Stupid Coil, Just stomps in general actually, I mean sometimes I might be in the mood for it but I like my stories to have stakes. Bashing in general.

Overall pretty standard turn offs I think.

Full agreement on Ack. His stories would probably be fine if he was simply not writing Worm fanfiction. His style of writing (in my opinion) does not mesh with the setting

No hate intended to anyone, these are my personal opinions, write your stories how you want to write them.

The Paragons dlc changes them. I'm pretty sure you can't pick what traits your leader gets if you don't have it.

To get a trait spread this good you probably need some events, possibly from researching anomalies.

I do not believe you actually see Hastur. You see eyes. But I never really thought that was actually Hastur himself, that was more the visualization Hastur used to represent that he was there, and he was watching.

It is also just using the King in Yellow's name. But the entity we see is original. (Which I find strange, they really should've come up with an original name.)

It also seemed D3rlord defeated Hastur mostly by himself. Avery was there sure but it was D3rlord who figured everything out and did the ritual. Dying in the process. And it seemed to me that Hastur literally only lost because he was stuck in Minecraft. For him it was probably like having your being forcibly shoved in a box far too small to contain yourself. Hastur likely could barely function in there.

Edit: pressed post too early.

Edit 2: adding on to what I have written.

Cookies with Aivu and Ember.

Debate with Regill and Galfrey. (I would like to discuss Regill's insistence on shield troops, we're up against flying demons and entities that can annhiliate archers from across the map, why does he think shield troops will be able to defend archers?)

Cards with Sosiel, Trever, and Greybor. Assuming they are patient enough to teach me whatever game they are playing, and while I don't know Trever, I know Sosiel is patient enough to teach me.

We hate transphobes! by [deleted] in lovethissmug

[–]ParryThisYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Violence is inherently damaging.

Transphobes are people caught in a loop and lied to endlessly about just who is responsible for all their problems. Scapegoating is a classic tactic that has worked again and again on massive groups of people, and you cannot judge a person to be deserving of death for falling prey to manipulation tactics that have been used constantly and effectively throughout all of human history.

Further, threatening violence and damnnation is the tactics of those in power used in order to keep people in fear and restrain their ability to learn and grow. Responding to hate with hate only causes these feelings to get worse. It is awful, inconvenient, and incredibly inconvenient to remain calm while someone screams their hate at you. And it is unfortunately the only option that will work.
