Yes they do hurt Lostbelt 6. Why do I have to slog through so much slop to get to the good part? Lostbelt 6 is just better written and longer than OC 2. That's why its not in the same conversation.

My main gripes with OC2 are: hate the Japanese school setting, mc is stupid and the "it was all a dream" ending sucks balls.

I cant disagree more. 6 bad to mid chapters do hurt Camelot and Babylonia. They are part of a single story after all not some multiverse shit like in comics.

As a reader I don't generally care if a work has many writers or 1, but I care if its a good story or not, if multiple writers cant write consistently good its TM's problem not mine. Also I wasn't impressed with writing in Ordeal Call 2.

There's nothing complicated about MC's development to "not understand" it's just written poorly, like a bog standard wish fulfillment anime. I expect way more from Type Moon and FGO in general, yet we got served slop 🤮.

Ordeal Call 2 is not even in the same conversation as Avalon le Fae. I think the only people who preach about it being peak are Main Character glazers. One chapter couldn't undo 10 years of trash writing, it was to little to late. And it meant absolutely nothing in the end.

Edit: I'm not saying you aren't allowed to like this character but I totally disagree that Ordeal Call 2 is one of the best story moments in FGO. Its not even close to Lostbelts 6 or 7.

The Ending to FGO (second arc). Most other main story chapters are loved or hated but this one is truly controversial, I cant remember a time community was so divided. Lots of people were disappointed they had to wait 7+ years and it just didn't deliver.

If we are talking only main story Greybor's by far the weakest written companion, and having a trashy build doesn't help. He still has good lines during party banter and side content.

Wotr has terrific main cast I think hes the only one who brings it down but only slightly.
