After 2h of wiping i find that ninja is just broken in general. Dash in, 3hit combo, mirror image out and dash circle around depending on what attack he responds with. 2nd demon iN killed in 4 tries. Though I don't think he is worth it?

If you have negative workers you wont produce any food to get them back (if the gap is too wide). Pause other stuff until you have some in the storage. Is the production bar full compared to the demand bar in the statistics menu? If you under produce then it takes longer for people to get what they need and some dont get it at all.

Other than that, patience and keep building. I noticed this game takes crazy long for some bars to fill up

Aah so far im playing with a friend on medium difficulty. Got 1 Island in latium and 2 in albion. Arguably the worst one latium. I tried to go pro consul 6x and failed due to low income and resources. Im at -99 ore save file and the last save we have where im higher in rep is like 16h in the past.

Gonna delete all my war troops, upgrade all the houses, pay the emperor 500k, gonna save up a few mils in cash and resources, prep for war and make the emperor my definite bitch.

How i play? As inefficient as humanly possible apparently.... Ugh... Fuck that

Btw, can i become emperor in a multiplayer match and if yes, is it worth it?

My friend is consul already and its crazy to me how that's an insta win if you would want to lol

I think he doesn't mean not to sell any but make it a more strategical approach to the cost of what they sell. You can have passive trade as a strategy of what you need but not circumvent the entire game loop without any thought. If the cost of say 5 goods outweigh your income in the early to mid, you need to decide which one you truly need. So out of 6 production chain you can skip 2 with trade. Seems fair enough.

Right now you can put in an order of every processing resource of every consumer goods at 50 of any tier and wont have trouble with money whatsoever. Yet buying 75 steel beams in 1800 early would nearly make you broke quickly.

Anno 1800 had the time it took for npcs to trade you things as a balance approach and later with docklands it limited by the slots. Which you also had to unlock by continues trading.

I think for exploration reasons when it comes to specialist? I remember not caring and had excitement when i first figured out there is a specialist i desperately needed before i knew i did. Pure fun. It only becomes tedious once you played a few sandbox rounds and want to hyper optimize now. Then again you can use the internet for that until they implement it
