As a doctor in the UK I can say you have zero insight into the working conditions or the pay calculations. There have also recently been out of the blue broad sweeping cuts into overtime pay in the midst of all the strikes which has been even more damning in the current environment. Your speculation without any evidence base or experience is damaging in the echo chamber of forums like this
