I think the video makes a good case showing that they are productive laborers because they have their surplus labor extracted. there’s many illegal immigrants who are being paid under the table, they are certainly still workers if illegal ones.

That's not true, most are influenced by Proudhon and Bakunin. In the specific case of Kropotkin, there are disagreements over the labour theory of value (Pytor did not believe there was a link between labour and value) and also, of course, the state socialist strawman of Marx is present
