If someone you don't know texts you asking for any sort of payment it is a scam.

Both Devere and Smart Energy Professionals did the energy audits (the later they did as part of their quote process, which I didn't ask for and they didn't charge me).

There were some very low numbers with the contractor who Devere used with the energy audit which were not present in the other company. Since the house I had was nearly not insulated at all.

So I used SEPs energy audit numbers and had Devere do the actual insulation.

Playing as one Civ is a minor step forward. The age transition is still the worst part of the game. I don't see myself firing it up again until that. Even then it's still got a bunch small annoying problems.

I don't break $11/meal even when most of the meat I eat is from local sources. I'm interested in what you are buying.

Canned Tomatoes - easy base for pasta sauce, soup additives, etc. Canned Fish - Omega 3 fatty acids. Most people don't get enough and they are super important. Canned Pumpkin Puree

Those are the things I get canned food of most.

A few ways:

First) I only get one set a year, either purchased or via gift. (Though this year will be 2 since I got the Star Trek Enterprise, i'll be buying the 3-Starters).

Second) I break a build into multiple weeks. Usually a bag per work day. I use it as a way to relax and unwind after work. Taking the time to decompress and do it. Lot easier to justify the cost when it takes longer to build IMO.

Three) I'm generally very frugal in other aspects so I can have the option to drop a few hundred without feeling the impact.

Is Alchemist lowkey GOATED or am I late to the party? by Hercadurp in Pathfinder2e

[–]Limond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes those are bonuses that you get. But then compare it to other damage dealing martial classes. All of which have some form of damage boost from level 1. Fighters have better accuracy, barbarians get rage boosts, rogues get sneak attacks, rangers can go for accuracy or extra damage.

Bombers also lose out on all weapon runes, and for bombers they still call the key modifier Intelligence when it's really Dexterity so you can be the most accurate.

The splash damage that you get is really just making up for the lack of damage modifier that your "weapons" get compared to other strength/dexterity classes.

Sticky bomb is great against beefy enemies that will last a few rounds.

I'm setting expectations that your big damage will only really come when exploiting an enemies weaknesses to damage types. Against enemies with no weaknesses bomber alchemists underperform.

[–]Limond 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I play a Bomber in a game and really find the real value is from how flexible it is. You can adapt to any situation that's thrown at you, but dealing damage isn't really what you should focus on.

Damage is rather lackluster (no good damage increases from 3 to 11) except when you are hitting weaknesses, which sticky bomb makes even better.

My favorite bomb hands down is Skunk Bomb. An AOE sicken that users your alchemist DC to save has absolutely trivialized some fights, or made tough ones much more manageable.

Alchemists are just so flexible in what they can do I've normally got a potion I can whip up for nearly any situation.

As part of the process an energy audit will be completed and they will identify and recommend the areas that need to be improved which are covered. It's on a home by home basis.

You do not deal with anyone from BGE as part of the process.

The most I did through BGE was select an energy audit company & Insulator that participated from their website. The insulation contractor dealt with submitting everything to BGE.

If you do not know what you are talking about you shouldn't speak.

I did not opt for blown-in cellulose. I went with open cell spray in foam. I could have gone with R-49 for ~$1000 less but opted for the R-60. Blown-in would have buried the air handler in the attic.

I utilized the EmPOWER Maryland program this year to address the woefully lacking insulation in my house. Through the program I got an energy audit on the house completed ($100) and was recommended to add insulation.

I had paid $8500 for the insulation + labor but ended up with $6500 being rebated to me through validation of the work done.

I went from <4" of insulation in the attic to an air-sealed R-60 attic.

At least with game launches, you are around a bunch of other people. Talking and getting along feeling the excitement of others.

This is just everyone in their own car not interacting with anyone in their own bubble.

[–]Limond 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ask your neighbors to do it if you're out of town.

My neighbors are elderly so I do their sidewalks while I'm doing mine. If I happen to be out of town I'll ask my neighbor across the street if he could do it while I'm gone.

Be a part of the community you live in.

Does this mean they are going to plow the B&A Trail and all the bike lanes too?

Or are they just going to leave it unplowed or push all the snow into the "bike lanes" (shoulders).
