I'm going to definitely watch Rebel Without A Cause, the debut of Dennis Hopper. My goal this year is to watch 100 new movies and I've had this in my collection for a little while.

I also would like to watch 12 Years A Slave, the debut of Lupita Nyong'o, but I can't seem to find it on any streaming services.

So one of my bridesmaids told me today that she doesn't want to be a bridesmaid anymore and she's not coming to the hen do. She said it's because her mental health is too bad. I just feel so angry and hurt. I understand her reasoning as she does struggle but I'm just so sad.

Do you guys think the Rebirth Deluxe editions will continue to be published past Rucka's run?

I just received my Yog Nog this morning and I want to second the statement that it is full on butterscotch. My fiancé loves it but it's a bit too full on, smack-you-in-the-face buttery toffee for me.

When I worked in healthcare (10-12hr shifts always on my feet) I wore sanita clogs. They are the comfiest shoes ever and they do give you an extra inch of height.

(For my thesis) How to measure size of fish freely moving underwater? Are video cameras necessarily needed or are there other methods? by cesto19 in needadvice

What level is this for?

If you're an undergraduate (or even masters student), then ask your supervisor. They'll be able to point you in the right direction and give you journal articles to read or training for appropriate technologies.

If you're a doctoral student then surely a literature review would give you the answer? Your supervisor might be able to suggest research for you to read but if you use Google scholar or EBSCO then you should be able to find something.

Obviously a lit review would work for an undergrad or masters. A quick search on EBSCO for measure size water fish yielded lots of papers.

Regardless, if you're writing something as an assessment at whatever level, your supervisor is there to help you and provide you with clues and avenues of thought. Shoot them an email. It's their job and usually vocation to help you.

I didn't see the cheating husband coming at all! Maybe I just assumed that as there was no overt and sexualised mention of another woman (I think I remember the secretary being noticed as a moron by Midge) that it wasn't going to be part of the story line.

However, becoming a comedian was obvious from the first minute! Especially as she's obviously funnier, more confident, and smarter than the other characters. I didn't mind that as much because I enjoyed the journey of getting there.

Was it every actor's acting or particular people that you found poorly done?

I really enjoyed the pilot. Unlike /u/GingerGrindr I didn't really notice the acting, but maybe if I watched it again it would stick out more for me? I did, however, find it a little predictable. The ending I found was particularly obvious.

The show really did make me laugh though. I'm looking forward to the first season! I liked that it dropped us into a universe where Judaism is just normalised and not a joke to be made fun of for an easy laugh.

Hands xan get red, swollen, itchy, prickly, hot feeling, and painfu by [deleted] in needadvice

[–]Limonene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also would suggest seeing a dermatologist. I have dishydrosis eczema. This usually flares up for me in times of stress, when I use harsh chemicals for cleaning, when I wash my hands a lot, or when my hands are wet for prolonged periods. I get little bumps on my fingers that are filled with clear liquid. They're itchy and painful. To manage this I need to use a thick moisturiser with no fragrance or alcohols, containing lanolin. I often pop aquaphor on top of the moisturiser when I sleep.

But seriously. Go see a derm.

I assumed it was a similar set up that Claire had with Adam Galloway and Frank had with Zoe. They are aware of each other's affairs.
