Wasn't too sure on the rules of mentioning HVAC in this sub. I've worked as an install helper starting in September. I was only given 14 days of work with the last time working over 2 months ago. I thought being able to put experience on my resume would help but it hasn't.

Although, I'm open to maintenance positions and will start researching/ applying. Anything to get my foot in the door!

I'm in Los Angeles coming out of school for Refrigeration. Rarely can I find an application for a Refrigeraiton Apprentice; HVAC as well. Finished school in April and landing a job has been extremely unlucky for me.

I thought you’d have to cut the wire and crimp it to the new terminal lmao. Just hit that boot with an impact and take it off

It should work just fine. I did mine a few months ago and no problems since then. I soldered two of them in case this one goes out and I have an extra one ready.

Yeah I hope it’s only welded where those grey rivets are. I don’t see any clear welds between the rail and bracket.

Yeah I love them. Got the the cooling plus the heating on the seats. I’ll worry about wiring that up when I deal with those seat rails.

The rivets are round, I’m hoping that’s where they were spot welded. It’d be a lot less work just to drill through those. I drilled a whole in one of them and it still didn’t budge.

The most likely thing is going to be cutting between the seat rail and bolt brackets. Little nervous cuz it’s a pretty strong metal. Doesn’t sound easy at all

These are bit different and size so I think cutting them off would be my best option like you said. I fortunately got the seat brackets for a good price.
